Faithful Navigator’s Message
Brother Sir Knights,
I hope this finds you and yours in good health, I want to Thank everyone again for your
help at our recent Luau, it was a huge success Thanks to everyone.
I hope to see everyone at our upcoming meeting on February 11th, at the church, remember
this meeting is early in the month because of Ash Wednesday.
I would again like to welcome all of our new Sir Knights and their families into our Assem-
bly, we can also use your help with meeting, callouts, and other actives.
In just a few weeks the Lenten season will start, please use this time to reflect on your com-
mitment to the Church, your Council, the Assembly, your family and our Lord. Try to find
something to commit to over the Lenten season to help strengthen these bonds. If your church
is not hosting Lenten meals, remember St Joseph will have one each Friday during Lent for a
nominal donation. Come and share the fellowship.
Again, if your Council is hosting an event and you want to spread the word, just send me a
message and we will get the word out.
Our next planning meeting will be Monday February 9th at 6:30 at St Joseph, followed by
the Assembly meeting on Wednesday the 11th.
I would also like to Thank our Faithful Master Dave Ryan for doing our recent Renewal of
Obligations at the monthly meeting. I hope this will help all of us to better dedicate ourselves
to the Knights and our church.
Yours in the Brotherhood,
Charles McCloskey, Faithful Navigator

March for Life fundraising event 3/21 @ 9:00 a.m., Jaycee Park
This year is going to be amazing, you don't want to miss it! Zumba Warm-up; Baby
Parade, Face-Painting an many other activities to make March for Life an exciting event.
They have set a goal of $50,000.
Please consider organizing a team and setting an individual team goal to raise
funds. There are March For Life Pledge Forms available at the First Choice Office, you
may also call them and they will be sure to get pledge forms to you. (702) 733-0323. Feel
free to contribute by on-line giving, simply go to the March for Life page.
This is a great pro-life project for your councils, assemblies and members. We
placed an ultrasound machine in this facility to help save the most innocent of all life. First
Choice is savings lives everyday by doing an average to 80 pregnancy tests a week and
39 ultrasounds on pregnant women a week. All this takes a lot of funds and First
Choice is totally funded by donations. First Choice receives no government funding nor
does First Choice charge for any of it's services.
So sign up, show up and make a pledge for this March for Life. Wouldn't it be great
if each council and assembly set up a team to see which council could raise and donate
the most funds in support of this life saving mission.
Think about making a monthly personal donation to First Choice by going to
firstchoicefriends.org and set up a monthly donating of $10 or more each month.
