2015
Joe Hogsett served for four years as United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, where he accumulated an impressive crime-fighting record. He successfully launched the office’s first Public Corruption Working Group, a Civil Rights Task Force, as well as a groundbreaking Violent Crime Initiative focused on punishing illegally-armed felons.
Under Joe’s leadership, the U.S. Attorney’s Office broke all-time records for the number of defendants charged, the number of criminal convictions, and the average length of sentences imposed. The office also reduced total spending every year of Joe’s tenure.
Joe and his wife Steph have three children. In addition to his career of public service, Joe has more than 20 years of experience in the private practice of law.
Chuck Brewer worked to put himself through some of our nation’s best higher education institutions and he has succeeded through some of our country’s most rigorous military programs. He is an entrepreneur, small business owner, veteran and proud father.
Like many Indianapolis residents, Chuck chose to call Indianapolis
home. His initial entrepreneurial venture began when Chuck became one of the first franchisees of the Chicago-based Potbelly Sandwich shop. Building on that success, Chuck later launched a restaurant of his own creation, Soupremacy, in downtown Indianapolis.
Prior to starting his own business, Chuck worked for Sears Holdings Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. In ten years, Chuck worked his way through the ranks from being a lower-level manager to becoming a Division Vice President.
While working at Sears Holdings, Chuck completed the night MBA program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Business School. Prior to that he earned a Masters degree from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
A decorated combat veteran, Chuck serves our country as a Lt. Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. His military career spans a total of 23 years and includes two combat tours as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and a tour at the Pentagon. Chuck is a member of the American Legion and the Indy Chamber. He is a proud father of one son, Charlie. Chuck attends Christ Church Cathedral.
We have the honor of having the two major party candidates for Indianapolis Mayor keynoting our Annual Event this year. Both men are going to lay out their plans for
the future of Indianapolis and what that means to the construction industry.

Over the past three years, the
ICR has met with 650 high school students to
promote the construction industry and introduce
them to careers in Architecture,
Construction and Engineering.
The Indiana Construction Roundtable is proud to host its 5th Annual
Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. This event gathers leaders in the
construction industry throughout Indiana to discuss the challenges
they are facing. This year’s conference is themed “Building Indiana’s
Future” because we believe the most pressing priority for the ICR at
this point is WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT.
This year’s conference will engage a diverse group of speakers who
bring their unique perspectives to the challenges we are facing. Each
program will be interactive, offering recommendations for how our
industry can improve.
In addition to education, attendees will have the opportunity to
network and build relationships with peers.
