The illuminated square is the most eye catching part of the cover, along with the illuminated logo of the band name. The square is an iconic image of the band as it is used in the sets of their performances as well as being featured in some of their music videos. This will allow the fans to feel dedicated to the music as they recognise this symbol of the band. The band name is also recognisable and although some of the letters are backwards and not complete, fans will associate this font with them. The font also represents their music genre as it is edgy and distinctive, yet quite simple and vintage. This however contrasts well with the modern instruments and synthesised sounds in their music, although their use of the saxophone works well with the clichéd ‘jazz club’ font. Black and white being the constants colour scheme of both the band their album, it reflects their cool, laidback personas as they are not in the business to be famous. Fans will again recognise the black and white theme as this is in many of their music videos. The band are wearing laidback, dark clothing which many people would wear day to The clothing is also something which many fans can aspire to wear as it is easily accessible. The photo highlights the lead vocalist as he is the most recognisable member and the rest of the band are surrounding him as well as being slightly in the background. Their body language is again laidback and does not look uncomfortable as they have their hands in their pockets like many men do, therefore the male fans can relate to them.
