WELCOME FROMGaRy MCaLLISTER Welcome to the latest edition of the ‘12th Man’.

From a fan’s point of view, Euro 2016 was pretty much all that we hoped it would be, with memories created that will stay with us all for a lifetime. Our good conduct and friendliness shone through once again and it was great to be able to demonstrate that at the finals of a major tournament.

The Grand Vermeil medal which was bestowed upon us all has begun to make its way around Northern Ireland to allow as many fans as possible an opportunity to be pictured with it before it is handed over to the new Education and Heritage Centre at the NFS at Windsor Park.

We now look to the World Cup qualifiers, beginning with a return to the Czech Republic. The last encounter ended in a 0:0 draw in 2009, on what was by far the coldest night I’ve ever experienced following Northern Ireland!

WELCOME FROMMICHaEL O’nEILL Having just had a taste of a major tournament we are looking forward to the challenge that awaits us in the upcoming World Cup Qualifying campaign.

To win the group we would have to finish above the world champions, I think that makes it the most difficult group you could be in.

We will be looking to try and get points on the board early, get momentum into the campaign, and hopefully when we bring the big teams to Belfast we can put on big performances and get points that people don’t expect us to get in the group.

Fan aCTIVITIES • All fan (club) activities must be

communicated to security one day before the match

• In case of large banners/flags the fans should come to venue early

PROHIBITEd ITEMS • Pyrotechnics, alcohol, video-cameras,

objects that can be used as a weapon or thrown onto the pitch are prohibited from the stadium

• Professional cameras without accreditation

• Flag poles - longer than 1m - wooden flag poles • Loud musical instruments

Drunken spectators or persons who attempt to take in prohibited objects will be refuse entry to the stadium.

RECOMMEndaTIOn • Please arrive at the venue early,

recommended 90 minutes before the kick-off. Late arrivals may find delays with security procedures.

• There will be a security check conducted at the gates.

• You do not have to present your passport on entry to the stadium

• Do not buy match tickets from unauthorized sellers

• Carry your European health insurance card

• Emergency phone numbers: - 112 (General) - 158 Police - 155 Ambulance In case of emergency please inform

the emergency services of your location by using the numbers on the street lamps.

• For security reasons, guest fans will be asked by the announcer to stay in their seats after the match until the vicinity of the stadium is safe. We ask guest fans to respect steward and police orders. Guest fans will then be accompanied to the buses/cars by police.
