API spec 6D Ball Valves Trunnion supported ball, Top Entry
design, cast body, bolted bonnet, metal to metal or soft
seated sealing design, self relieving spring loaded seats
or double piston effect sealing system, anti-static device,
anti blow-out proof stem, double block and bleed or block
and bleed, venting and drain fittings, self lubricating stem
and trunnion bearings to assure low operantig tourque
throughout entire valve life, fire safe design to BS 6755
parts 2. Some of these Top Entry valves are installed in
vertical position, have been supplied with internal sleeves
to allow the line to be flushed without damaging the valve
seales while some of them are metal seated.
API spec 6D Ball Valves Trunnion supported ball, forged steel,
3 pieces split body side entry, metal to metal or soft seated
sealing design self relieving spring loaded seats or double
position effect sealing system, anti-static device, anti-blow-
out proof stem double block and bleed or block and bleed,
venting and drain fittings, self lubricating stem and trunnion
bearings to assure low operating torque throughout entire
valve life, fire safe design to BS 6755 parts 2.
API spec 6D Ball Valves Trunnion supported ball,
forged steel, welded body construction, double
piston seats sealing system, anti-static device, anti-
blow-out proof stem, block and bleed, venting and
drain fittings, self lubricating stem and trunnion
bearings to assure low operating torque throughout
entire valve life, fire safe design to BS 6755 parts 2
or API 6fA or API 607. Emergency sealing system at
stem and seats area, if required. Safety relieve valve
in case of cavity over pressure (suggested only with
Liquid Hydrocarbon).
Perar API Spec. 6D/BS 5351 Floating Ball Valves, ANSI B16.5 RF flanges
ends, 2/3 pieces split body, forged steel body, side entry, anti-static
device to BS 5351 anti-blowout proof stem, fire safe design to BS
6755 part 2, full or reduced bore, lever or gear operated. Perar
Bare stock Floating Ball Valves, ANSI B.2.1 two pieces screwed body
construction, side entry, class 600/800, 3000, 6000, anti-blowout
stem, anti-static device, seat supported ball, NPT ends or socket
weld ends according to ANSI B16.11, fire safe design, zinc plated
body.
Perar has specialised in Low Temperature and Cryogenic
service to the extreme temperature of minus 196 Deg C, in
accordance with the most stringent specifications. Perar
Ball Valves in cryogenic service are supplied with extended
bonnet with a sufficient gas column length (vapour space)
to keep the stem seals exposed only to vapour and not
the cold liquid to ensure functional integrity. Suitable
seals are selected considering the customer ’ s process
indication. PTFE lip seal spring energised or KEL-F are
commonly used.
Subsea ball valvesMain design characteristics and attributes of Perar sub-sea ball valves
are generally the same for topside valves, with additional features to
withstand the external pressure. Perar recommend fully welded body
construction to prevent potential leakage from the body closure seals
reducing the total seal area (and circumference), compared to the
other designs. Double piston sealing system, special heavy coating,
sub-sea gearbox or c/w ROV adapter receptacle connection, if required
complete this special execution. However sub-sea ball valves can be
done according to any other project design or requisition.

PERAR ball valves are ready so to be shipped
to the most remote areas of the world. Where
our Clients will need our products where we
will be. Products leave Perar plants after a total
session of testing painted and ready to the
relative shipping with adeguate protections.
Everything is optimized to reduce to the
lower level possible the enviromental impact,
and to satisfy the following on field assembly
requirements. Every product has its own related
documentation and certifications.
Customers service follows the client since the bidding and engineering phase, up to the commissioning
and after sales. extending to the global valve life. A product manager inside PERAR staff will be devoted
to the client order since the beginning to the end of delivery.
Furthermore, daily contact with our customer, gives Perar always the opportunity to know the status of
his goods in operation. It means to have the possibility to know and solve on time any problem, and
identify new alternatives and solutions, to know the real time status of your items inside the production
and the delivery process.

Assembly area is divided into 3 lines, for small middle
and large sizes. The quality is assured by the process
itself that includes for every group of operations a
specific final functionality test.

Quality is assured by a global Cad-Cam System
Most usual materials are:
Carbon steel; Stainless steel; Duplex, super Duplex,
Titanium, Incoloy, 6MO, Inconel, & Special Alloy on
customˈs requirements. Perar in-house process is able
to guarantee the fastest time-to-market available for
such kind of special materials obtained by a proprietary
process tuned by 10 years and more of R&D.
The machining and manufacturing area is divided in two lines, one for small size, mainly floating valve
and trunnion valve up to 16”, the second line for medium /large size up to 60”.
Assembly phase is not the end of process but...
A modern equipment is available to allow a smooth
progress of the most demanding orders meeting
any international specification: No 11 Test Benches
for hydraulic / pneumatic test to cover full range of
API 6D and API 6A sizes 1/2 to 60.
A dedicated and segregated area is available for
special testing such as cryogenic at minus 196° C
with Helium/Nitrogen gas, abrasive condition test,
fire test, hyperbaric test in hyperbaric chambers.
Additional qualified personnel have recently been
hired.
The right material for the right job
Computerisation has been applied to all sectors of activity:
quotation and sales, designing and engineering, technology
research and development, materials and production control,
finished product inspection and testing.
Documentation, certificates, SPIR and procedures can be
issued in electronic format. Perarˈs technical Department
has a full CAD design and engineering system, consisting
of 8 workstations equipped with AutoCAD ver.14 as design
software and Math Cad Professional 2001 for calculation
notes, dedicated PC for Finite Element Analysis (F.E.A.),
Simulation Programs.
