SKILL-

Recognize and count the numbers 0 to 10.

Or recognize and count the numbers 1 to 20.

PREP-

Print one set of ten frames on cardstock for each center and laminate for added durability.

Cut along the black lines to separate the ten frame cards.

Shuffle the cards and place them in a stack face down on the table.

Print a record sheet for each student and grab a container of crayons or bingo daubers.

Note: You can either practice the numbers 0 to 10 with the first record sheet or increase the difficulty by having students practice 1 to 20.

For an even bigger stretch, give students the 1 to 20 sheet with the numbers written out of order.

PLAY-

Picking up one ten frame card at a time, students count the fish.

They color or bingo dab the matching number on their record sheet and then put the card to the side before picking up a new card.

Children continue until all of their numbers have been colored.
