believers who accompany you on your own individual
journey of faith. We also welcome those who have not
received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.

FOOD PANTRY We continue to ask for your support with donations for our Food Pantry, it is always a great help! Please place donations in the Barrel marked Food Pantry. Listed are
some suggestions: 1lb.and 2lb. bags of white rice and beans, pasta, canned soups, chili, peanut butter and jam. We have a need for men’s TUBE SOCKS AND USABLE SLEEPING
BAGS. We no longer are taking egg cartons. PLEASE
WE DO NOT TAKE CLOTHING, TOYS,
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS OR FURNITURE. WE

donaciones para nuestra despensa de
comida, siempre es de gran ayuda! Por favor pon-

ALTAR SOCIETY The regular third Tuesday ALTAR SOCIETY MEETING
will be a “potluck” at 12 noon. Please bring your favorite
dish to share. Following lunch, we will be packaging bags
of rice for St. Vincent DePaul. This would be a good time
to invite prospective new members/ guests to attend. Hope
everyone can be there!

1.Las platicas Pre-Bautismales son los Viernes
últimos de cada mes a las 7pm. No hay pláticas
en Diciembre
Fechas de Platicas; empiezan a las 7pm en la
Inglesia: Julio 29; Agosto 26; Septiembre 30;
Octubre 28; Noviember 25.
2.Deben asistir a las pláticas los PADRES y PADRINOS.Tiene que registrar en la oficína 544-7272 antes de la plática. REQUISITOS:
1. Deben traer a la oficina una copis del acta de nacimiento antes de ir a la plática.
1. Llevarlos vestidos de blanco el dia del bautismo
2. Los padrinos tienen que estar CASADOS POR LA IGLESIA
3. Si es possible una copía del Certificado de Matrimonía en la Iglesia. El costo es $35 donacion a la Iglesia.

Oktoberfest es en el quarto año que tenemos concurso de
pastel, galletas y torta. Tenga lista su receta favorite de
pasteles, galletas y tortas. Esa es la opportunidad de
hacerlos saber a todos que usted hace el major pastel, galleta o torta. Unase a la diversion del concurso de hornear en esta
Oktoberfest Sabado el 10 de septiembre. Nuestros jueces

RESURRECTION CONFERENCE OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL Umbrellas in August?
The 5th Sunday collection on July 31st was an amazing
$5,517. Your generosity is deeply appreciated by the
recipients who attend our twice monthly food distribution.
Despite weather well into the 90’s, umbrellas dot our parking
lot as needy folks patiently wait in the broiling sun to
receive fruit, vegetables and staples.
Thank you for reaching into your pocket to reach out to the
needy!
Thanks also to our faithful volunteers who show up,
RAIN or SHINE, to help with this vital assistance program.
Thanks to your ongoing financial support, we are helping a
number of struggling families prepare for Back-to-School by
providing backpacks and Payless Shoe Source vouchers for
their school age children.

La Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul de la Resurreción Sombrillas en Agosto? La colecta del 5to domingo el 31 de julio fue impresionate $5,517. Los veneficiarios de la colecta de la distribucion de comida que ocurre dos veces al mes, le agradecen profundamente su generosidad. A pesar de que la temperatura estubo arriba de los 90 grados. Las sombrillas en el estacionamiento sirvieron a familias quienes esperaron pacientemente bajo el sol ardiente para recibir despensa, frutas y verduras. Gracias por acanzar dinero de su bolsillo y compartilo con los necesitados. Gracias tambien a nuestros voluntarios quienes estan aqui llueva o truene para ayudar con este programa que es tan especial! Gracias a su apoyo financiero continuo, podemos ayudar a un buen numero de familias con difiultades poder prepararse para el regreso a clases repartiendo mochilas y vales de Payless Shoes para comprar zapatos a sus hijos.

There will be an informal meeting on ST. IGNATIUS
SPIRITUAL EXERCISES. The Spiritual Exercises grew out
of Ignatius of Loyola’s experience as a man seeking to grow
in union with God and discern God’s will. This spirituality is
based on Scripture & a personal relationship with Christ. It
is an ideal way for Christians to live their faith while daily
