Eligible and interested candidates are invited for the interview of “Textile Physical Testing LaboratoryAttendants” which are purely temporary and contractual positions coterminous for 11 months , at Khadi& Textile Division, MGIRI, Maganwadi, Wardha at 11.00 am on 30th March 2017, under the project “ -

Area: Textile Physical Testing Nature of duties/Expectations Project Name Review and revise the quality

Assurance Norms related to pre-spinning and spinning area of CottonKhadi and Poly-Vashtra”.

Nature of job: 1. Segregation of incoming samples and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing samples in register as well as in computer.2.Testing of samples of fibre ,sliver and roving related to cotton or cotton /polyester blend.3.Testing of yarn samples of cotton or cotton/polyester blend. 4. Entries of test data in register as well as in computer 5. Statistical analysis of above tests data &preparation of test reports.6. Assisting in preparation of Detail Project Report(DPR)

Minimum Essential Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Statistics/TextileScience/Textile Engineering/ TextileTechnology.

Essential Experience

1.Knowledge of textile physicaltesting equipments, especially in Pre-

spinning & yarn spinning areaAND/OR

Knowledge of statistical analysisof test data. 2. Proficiency in report making incomputer (MS office)

Desirable Knowledge of sample storage ,recordsetc.

Payment Rs.15,000/- per month fixed (totalconsolidated).

Experience 1-3 years in textile testing /statisticaldata analysis; Freshergraduate/Postgraduate candidate inStatistics /Textile Science/TextileEngineering/ Textile Technology mayalso apply.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. Upper age limits: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview.2. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates 05 years and OBC candidates 03 years as per Government

of India instructions.

a) Mode of Selection: Through Interview. 1. The Application form will be provided at the venue on the scheduled date. 2. At the time of interview candidates should bring one latest photograph, attested copy of

certificates of examinations passed (starting from matriculation), certificate indicating date ofbirth, caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and experience certificate, etc.

3. All eligible candidates are requested to be present at the venue on the said date 01 hour beforethe scheduled time (11.00am) for necessary formalities on 30th March,2017.

4. The short listed candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee and, based on theperformance; a panel of recommended candidates will be formed.

5. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at MGIRI(permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at MGIRI, the positions are purelytemporary on contract basis and co- terminus with the sponsored projects.

6. The appointments on these positions will be purely temporary and will be terminable at onemonth’s notice from either side.

7. Further the above payment(s) is tentative and the same will be finally decided based on theavailability of funds in the relevant sponsored projects.

8. To avoid any inconvenience, only those candidates who strictly fulfill the eligibility criteriaand possess the degree/mark sheet in the aforesaid subjects should turn up for floatinginterview.

No TA/DA will be admissible for this WALK IN INTERVIEW.
