Nicola Leigh Hello, I’m Nicola I’m 25 and work freelance as a photographer and director of photography and graphic designer. I volunteer for The Prices Trust as I was recently selected to be a ‘Young Ambassador’, where I speak at events to promote the Trust and encourage entrepreneurship in young people. I left Liverpool John Moores University with a 1st in Interaction Design for Entertainment Media in 2008, and after working in the south of the country for a while, came back to Liverpool and became self employed and have been building my portfolio of work up since then. Highlights so far: Photographer for Adidas: On the street team, captured 500 local peoples faces, all images were part of a huge store re-launch artwork in their Birmingham store window as a statement against the rioting, examples here. Director of Photography for Liverpool Sound City: Created a 25 min documentary about Liverpool Sound City (an annual 3 day music festival) where I was DOP, Producer, Stills photographer and Cameraperson in a team of 12.
