• A Ph.D. student is supervised by a graduate faculty member with a doctorate (may also be co-supervised by graduate faculty members from other disciplines).
Assessment
• Student’s progress is assessed each semester by the main supervisor via the GSMS (online Progress Report) form
• No report submitted – automatic Conditional Pass (TM)
Supervision & Assessment
Students will be awarded the
Doctor of Philosophy
Successful completion of the oral examination
(viva voce)
Submission of hard copy of the doctoral thesis.

A Bachelor degree with good honours
(CGPA 3.0) and a recognized teaching
qualification from UTM or any other Higher Learning
institutions recognized by the University Senate:
