  • Quality Assurance CheckOn 21 April 2009HKEAA staff will visit schools selected at randomTo ensure packing, delivery and receipt of assessment materials has been properly completed by the courier

  • Pre-assessment PreparationRemind the students to bring their student cards on the assessment dayPrepare 3 sets of student list for each class with Chinese names, English names and class numbers of all students for each pair or Oral Examiners and AAA for attendance taking

  • Student Sample ListAll WS0, WS3-WS7 students are not included in the Student Sample ListIf these students are still found on the Student Sample List, AAS can replace them with the students on reserve and report to the Oral Examiners via AAAThe Student Sample List is generated from the school data submitted as at 6 Mar 2009

  • Support to Non-Chinese Students (NCS)Additional bilingual (Chinese and English) instructions for all Chinese assessment papers will be provided to each WS1 studentEnough copies of instructions will be put into the Stationery Box, AAS can distribute the instructions to their WS1 students if necessary

  • Support to Non-Chinese Students (NCS)Ask the invigilators to collect the instructions and put them into the Envelopes for Surplus Materials

  • Procedures Related to Onscreen Marking (OSM)Both question booklets and answer booklets will be used for all assessment sessions (except Chinese Writing using question-answer booklets (QA booklets))Students are required to stick barcode labels onto the cover and inner pages of their worked answer booklets / QA bookletsStudents are required to use dark blue or black pens to answer questions other than MC questions

  • Special Arrangements Students Requiring Enlarged QPs (1)Will be given sub-paper 1 for all assessments

  • Special Arrangements Students Requiring Enlarged QPs (2)In Listening Assessments, students may be given a sub-paper different from that of their classmates. In such case, schools should arrange for them to be assessed in a separate room or put them in a class using the same sub-paper

  • Special Arrangements Students Taking Assessments Separately (1)

    Will be given the same sub-papers for CAV (+2VCDs) and Listening (+2CDs)Assorted papers for other assessments

  • Special Arrangements Students Taking Assessments Separately (2)

    Will not be provided a separate set of barcode labelsTheir scripts should be returned to their respective classes and Invigilators should then help sticking barcode labels for these students
