(Bill - 02) SKELETON WORKS - CONCRETE WORKS

Pricing for concrete works shall include the following:1. All form works and shuttering in any form, shape and size. Making chamfered and curved edges, allowing for and making grooves and sleeves and the like; removal of forms and cleaning of all exposed tie wires and rods; making good chipped damaged surfaces and edges and all surface finishing.2. Supplying, Casting, vibrating and curing as per specifications. 3. Approved additives and admixtures.4. Incurred costs on Concrete Mix Designs, Sampling, testing and providing test results certificates, storing and saving of samples, and preparation of bar bending schedules and workshops. 5. Price to include concrete filling of plain concrete Grade B200, steel mesh Ø 8 and all fixing accessories. No allowance for thickness used other than those shown in the drawings.Rates of Block works include:-- Vertical and horizontal joints.- Cement and mortar,- Galvanized angles and butterfly ties.- Closed end blocks at all ends, door and window jambs, lintels and the like.- R.C. (Bill - 07 ) MECHANICAL WORKS

7 Preamble:

All Mechanical work items mentioned hereinafter for all project facilities and units shall include supply, delivery, installation, adjustment, testing commissioning, and all required materials, equipment and workmanship to execute the items of construction in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and supervising engineers instructions, complete in place and ready for handing over. Any shortage of items, quantities, materials, equipments, drawings and specifications should be notified to the owner by the contractor before submitting his officer, otherwise mechanical works will be executed completely inspite of any shortage. Measurements and payments shall be described in the relevant documents. Prices must include working drawings for all mechanical works that should be submitted by the contractor and to be approved by the supervisor engineer before starting works.

Also price includes as built drawings for all works.7.01 Wash Basins & Lavatories:

Supply and install white vitreous china such as Roca( vectoria) or equivalent wall mounted wash basin size 52*40 mm complete with Hamat (or Equivalent) Chrome plated long neck wall tape, supports, Æ 2” waste outlet, down to floor drain, chrome plated P-trap, mirror size 600x400 mm with stainless steel frame and accessories such as liquid soap dispenser.

7.02 Water Closets:

Supply and install white vitreous china Roca (vectoria) or equivalent water closets complete with 9-lt. capacity cistern, valves, fittings, solid and heavy seat cover, toilet roll paper holder chrome plated 13mm stop angle valve, chrome plated 13mm hose and accessories, 13mm chrome plated hose of 1m length with hand spray, and to be connected with water cabinet. All is according to drawings, specifications and approval of supervisor engineer

7.03 Floor Drains:

Supply and install floor drain including 15×15 cm stainless steel cover and main drain connections as located on drawings.

7.04 Cleanouts:

Supply and install UPVC floor clean-outs with stainless steel screwed specially for C.O. cover of 20×20 cm.

7.05 Drainage Pipes:

Supply and install UPVC vent and drainage pipes to floor drains or down to manholes with all required fittings including excavation, back filling, incasing with concrete and roof vent caps, including connections as shown in drawings and in accordance to specifications.a) Size 1 1/2 inch diameter (For condensation). 7.06 Water Distribution Pipes: -

Supply and install cross-linked polyethylene pipes (cross-linking factor >75%) with a working temperature 95c° at 10 bar and 20c° bar (PN 20). These pipes should be specialized for domestic water supply with approvals for hot and cold water installations like NSF (USA) KIWA (Netherlands) WRC (Britain). DVGW (Germany). These pipes should also have approvals for hygienic toxicological approvals. These pipes should be totally smooth from the inside. Rate to include testing and commissioning and all necessary parts, sleeves, materials or fitting to join the pipes form distribution cabinets to all consumption points as shown in drawing:a) 16 mm diameter pipes, 25 mm sleeve. 7.07 Water Distribution Cabinet: -

Supply and install metal distribution cabinet with double doors (thermal painting) of 1.5mm type ELEMCO thickness with all necessary GIACOMINI manifolds, compression fittings plastic connection boxes, main valves, branch valves and any other necessary parts, materials or fittings, rate to include any civil works needed to complete the required installation

7.08 Cold Water Supply Pipes:

Supply and install galvanized steel pipe schedule 40 or equivalent for domestic cold water from water, roof tanks to water distribution cabinet, including all required insulation by vedoflex of 6mm thickness rolled by plastic bonds, and sleeves, gate valves, check valves, strainers, rubber, automatic air vents, drain cocks with all required fittings and connections. All is according to drawings, specifications, and approval of supervisor engineer.

a) Size 1” inch diameter MR 15





7.09 Fire Extinguisher: -

Supply and install portable fire extinguishers of the rechargeable type and shall be supplied complete with the operating charge from the factory. The brackets shall be specifically supplied for the extinguisher type and size concerned. Dry chemical fire extinguishers shall be of the ABC type with a rugged all brass operating valve, large size operating lever, full vision pressure gauge, discharge hose and heavy duty drawn steel cylinder with hard scratch resistant finish. Capacity of 6 kg.

7.1 Exhaust Fan:

Supply and install windows or wall type exhaust fans of approved manufacture such as “Vortic” or Venta or equivalent complete with self-act automatic shutter. Price includes making necessary holes in glass and fixing. All is according to drawings, specifications and approval of supervisor engineer.

7.11 Submersible pump:

Supply and install submersible pump set for waste water discharge of approved type such as Grandfus or approved equal of capacity 10 Cu.M/H and head 10 meter. The price completed with all necessary fitting and material such as Ǿ2’’HDPE discharge pipe from pump to nearest sewage manhole as shown in drawings, fixing pump in collection pit, automatic floater, power supply and electrical control board

7.12 Wall Split Heat Pump A/C Unit (Provisional):

Supply and install wall high level type split heat pump A/C unit of capacity as shown in drawing of approved type such as Carrier, Trane and Petra. The unit consist of outside part install on wall on steel base, indoor part fancoil hanged on wall at high level. The connection between two parts done by insulated copper pipe, electrical cable and control wiring. Price completed by remote control, supply and install 11/4” HDPE condensate drain pipe. The unit operated by remote control. Price includes all civil work, electrical work and electric heating element.
