CSU minimum GPA for eligibility is a 2.7, competitive GPA is a 3.2 or higher

GPA is calculated beginning in 10th grade for approved “a-g” courses only

Additional grade points given for a grade of “C” or higher in approved Honors or Advanced Placement Courses and transferable college courses

It is recommended that Juniors take the SAT Reasoning Test/ACT in March/April or May/June and take the SAT subject tests (for UC and Private Schools only) in June

Students should take the SAT or ACT at least once in the Junior year and once in the fall of Senior year

EARLY ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (EAP)

Tests college readiness in English & Math11th grade students will be encouraged to participate in the EAP this spring as part of the STAR testing

Students will be asked to answer an additional 15 questions in English & write a 45-minute essay

Students will also answer an additional 15 questions in Math

Depending on scores, students may be waived from math and English placement testing.
