Participants must be a current member of the Bernard Betel
Centre in good standing at the time of registration and through-
out the duration of the trip. A deposit of $1,000 per person per
trip is required to secure a space. Deposits are only refundable if
written notice of cancellation is received more than 120 days
prior to scheduled departure. A non-refundable $85 administra-
tion fee ($175 for cruises) will apply. The Bernard Betel Centre
for Creative Living reserves the right to cancel any trip due to
insufficient registration. All monies will then be refunded.
All overnight trip prices are based on double occupancy. Single
accommodations are available at additional cost. Medical and
cancellation insurance is not included for any trip. All partici-
pants must show proof of purchase of medical insurance prior to
the trip. The Centre must have contact information for all travel-
ers in the event of an emergency. Should a traveler become ill or
incapacitated during a trip, Betel and its employees will take any
action they deem necessary, including seeking medical treat-
ment, transporting the passenger home at the passenger’s ex-
pense and/or contacting the emergency contacts to provide the
necessary care and accompaniment.
The Bernard Betel Centre also reserves the right to decline or
detain anyone deemed detrimental to the group. In the interest
of others, the Centre reserves the right to refuse registration to
any person whose mobility is below that required for the travel
program. For safety reasons we cannot accept walkers on our
trips.
The Bernard Betel Centre reserves the right to change the price,
time, itinerary and trip features of any trip at any time and for
any reason, with or without notice during the trip. If there is a
change in the itinerary there will be no refunds as a result of
these changes.
The Bernard Betel Centre is not responsible for any injury, loss,
delay, death, inconvenience or damage to person or property in
connection with the provisions and/or escorting of the travel
program.
