As we get closer to the end of the year, the term is getting hotter. Can you please send your child to

school each day with a hat and a bottle of water?

Kindergarten Orientation Kindy Orientation will be held on Friday 16th November at 9.15am. I will meet with parents while our new-

est students will have a lovely time in the classroom with Mrs Longhurst and the current kindergarten

children.

If you know of anyone who has a child starting next year, please let them know about the orientation day.

MMWaC CAPA Evening We are getting very excited about the CAPA Evening at Windsor High School on 28th November. It will be

another wonderful evening of entertainment watching our children perform. We do expect the evening to

end no later than 7.30pm. Look forward to seeing you there!

3 Way Interviews Thank you to the families who met with teachers at our 3-way interviews last Monday. It was a good time

for you to hear how well your child has achieved his/her goals.

Canberra Excursion

Stage 3 students had a great time at Canberra. We visited The War Memorial, Questacon, Parliament

House, and the National Museum of Australia. We went with students from Macdonald Valley, Maroota,

Cattai, Kurrajong East and Vineyard Public Schools. Of course, our students were wonderful!!!

A thank you goes to PACER (Parliament and Civics Education Rebate) who provided $20 financial

assistance per child to travel to Canberra.

World Teachers Day

Last Friday was World Teachers’ Day. Students at Wisemans Ferry Public School are very lucky to have

such dedicated teachers working with them.

Time for a Spring Clean?

Have you heard of the 20/80 rule of wardrobes? Basically it’s said that we use only 20% of our

clothes 80% of the time. The other 80% just hang there.

Perfect opportunity to declutter and share your no longer wanted clothes, bags, shoes and jewel-

lery with a great group of likeminded woman.

Please only donate good quality preloved items.

ENTRY $10 per person. You then get to choose your new wardrobe. There is NO LIMIT to what

you can take however just be considerate of your peers. Ideally we don’t want to take anything

home but whatever is left goes to charity.

** BRAND NEW items will be priced but they still will be a bargain.

SCHOOL PARENTS. we ask that you all bring a plate to share please. Everyone BYO drinks.

Student banking is continuing this year. Please bring your bank books and money into the school office

from Wednesday, they will be returned to you within a few days. If you would like to open an account

for your child information brochures are available at the school office on how to do this.
