It is always a very special moment to see the children return to school with their new uniforms, shiny shoes and smiling faces. They all had great stories to tell us about their holiday adventures. New staff in 2020 - we welcome two new staff to our team in 2020. Miss Emma Bransgrove has taken on the role of classroom teacher for K-2. Emma brings a solid background in Early Childhood Educaon and Learning. She brings enthusiasm and a fresh approach to learning in the K-2 classroom. Mrs Amanda Miller is our new Assistant Principal – Instruconal Leader for the EAfS program. Early Acon for Success is a program that aims to support literacy and numeracy development in K-2. Amanda leads this program across 5 other small schools in Cowra Small Schools Network. It is very clear that Emma and Amanda will form a fabulous team to drive our students literacy and numeracy skills higher. Heritage Country Schools Swimming Carnival 2020 was held at Cowra Aquac Centre last Friday and was a great success. Thank you to our families who came along and supported the children, cheering them on. We were proud of everyone’s efforts to parcipate in the whole day with posive atudes. Special congratulaons to our ‘all girls’ relay team – Kiara, Savannha, Holly and Indee who placed third in the Open Relay. School Leadership Inducon Ceremony - this will be planned to take place over the next few weeks. We have ordered new badges for 2020 individualised to our leaders roles. Parent Involvement – All families and community members are invited along to the Parents and Cizens Group at Lyndhurst PS. The meeng is planned for this Wednesday 5th February 2020 at 5.30pm in the LPS Office building. This is a great way to make new friends and get involved in having a say in your school. Families are also invited to come along to our fortnightly school assemblies. These are held on each second Tuesday at 2.30pm (Weeks 2,4,6,8,10) New enrolments – we are always keen to enrol new students. If you know of any interested families with K-6 students who are new/old to the area, please encourage them to come along to our school and have a look, meet our wonderful staff and be a part of the heart of the community, that is Lyndhurst Public School. To our wonderful families, carers and supporters,

Welcome back to another wonderful year of learning at Lyndhurst Public School. It is always a very special moment to see the children return to school with their new uniforms, shiny shoes and smiling faces. They all had great stories to tell us about their holiday adventures.

New staff in 2020 - we welcome two new staff to our team in 2020. • Miss Emma Bransgrove has taken on the role of classroom teacher for K-2. Emma brings a
