As we have moved to learning on-line, it is important that you give your child some support to learn how to use Google Classroom at home. It seems to be working for Years 4-6, however we are interested to know how this is working for K-2. We may find we have to try a different method to support these younger learners at home. A few points – Please encourage your child to check in daily with school staff via Google classroom or Zoom. Learning at home is not a holiday. Class work schedules will be daily from now, as we felt that it was too much informaon at once for children to work through, Keep posive and let us know how we can support you School is open and staff are here at LPS We are all missing the contact with the children. We became teachers to spend me with children each day, guiding and educang them all. Please contact myself or Miss Bransgrove on 6367 5016 for support using Google Classroom. We are always available. Lyndhurst Public School Newsletter

To our wonderful families and friends,

These seem to be uncertain times, don’t they? Things have changed so rapidly but rest assured that we are following all NSW Department of Education directives that we are given, as they come to hand.

As we have moved to learning on-line, it is important that you give your child some support to learn how to use Google Classroom at home. It seems to be working for Years 4-6, however we are interested to know how this is working for K-2. We may find we have to try a different method to support these younger learners at home.

A few points –

• Please encourage your child to check in daily with school staff via Google classroom or Zoom. Learning at home is not a holiday.

• Class work schedules will be daily from now, as we felt that it was too much information at once for children to work through,

• Keep positive and let us know how we can support you

• School is open and staff are here at LPS

We are all missing the contact with the children. We became teachers to spend time with children each day, guiding and educating them all.

Please contact myself or Miss Bransgrove on 6367 5016 for supportusing Google Classroom. We are always available. Thank you for beingsupportive of Lyndhurst Public School. Mrs Christine KovacPrincipal
