TemperaTure SenSor and air QualiTy moniTor (aQm)

HELLAs sensors for vehicle air-conditioning control range from temperature measurements inside the vehicle (Air Inlet and Outlet Sensor) to measurements directly at the evaporator, to external air quality measurements (Air Quality Monitor). All sensors benefit from more than 12 years of experience in the field of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) temperature sensors.

The Air Inlet and Outlet as well as the Evaporator are made up of uniquely designed negative temperature coefficient (NTC) resistors and are distinguished from open and encased sensor variants. All sensors are available in several versions with different temperature ranges and packages for easy integration.HELLAs Air Quality Monitor (AQM) controls the recirculation air function of the air conditioning system. The AQM registers external events which may have an impact on the air quality inside the vehicle (e.g. driving through a tunnel).
