SirsiDynix

Integrated Library Automation Sytem

Current members of TED University (registered students,

academic and administrative staff) automatically become

members of the library after they have their university received

the identity card (TEDUCard).

All types of library transactions can be done via the TEDUCard.

Members can also manage the following transactions online by

using the automation system:

* How many books can be borrowed?

* How long can books be borrowed for?

* What are the fine rates for overdue materials?

* Warning messages

*Members of the TED University can carry out

loan/return operations by using their TEDUCards.

Overdue Materials

The late return of long term loaned items accrues a

fine of 50 Kr per day overdue.

Members will automatically receive the following

warning messages:

* An e-mail notice 3 days prior to the due date.

* An SMS (on the due date)

* An e-mail notice 15 days following the due date.
