...Experience
An advanced product for a high performanceapplication
WEH's NGV product linehas been designed express-ly for the demanding appli-cations of natural gas high-pressure refueling systems. All products suit the extreme flow and tempe-rature conditions found inpractical operation.
Naturally all WEH productsare constructed of high-quality materials. Through-out many years of experi-ence and numerous testsspecial seal designs andsealing materials have beendeveloped, which meet thedemands of the mediumand the application.
is ensured by the speciallydeveloped WEH-JAW lockingmechanism. The clampingjaws tolerate harsh environ-mental conditions, eg. dirt, ice ... Also, the low loadper unit area allows thenozzle to be connected tothe receptacle withoutdamaging its surface. Thisespecially applies to brassreceptacles.
Natural gas refueling can be dangerous if unsuitableproducts are used. WEHProducts have a very highsafety standard to reducerisk areas.
Effective safety systems inall WEH NGV products, especially in the fuelingnozzle type TK15, achievesthe necessary safety stan-dard for the use of fillingdevices at self-serve fuelingstations.
WEH are pioneers in thenatural gas vehicle (NGV)industry. Starting in 1986they laid the foundation for the worldwide NGV 1standard by developing acomplete range of productsto accommodate NGVrefueling at self-serve fuelingstations.
Over the years WEH NGVproducts have not onlybeen bench tested but alsounder everyday conditionsat filling stations. The re-sults of this experience areto be seen worldwide.

by awkard-to-access recep-tacles and the chafing ofthe hose on the ground. The nozzle also features anintegrated ball valve andcaptive venting. Refueling iscarried out by simplypushing the TK10 onto thereceptacle, opening the ballvalve until fueling is complete, closing the valve, ventingthe residual gas and pullingback the sleeve to disconnect.
New! The fueling nozzletype TK10i has been desi-gned especially for theItalian market, thus enablingto connect with a simplepush-pull-nozzle also toItalian receptacles.

Fueling Nozzle
Type TK10 and TK10i
* acc. to SAE J 514, 37°
The TK1 Fueling nozzle isdesigned specifically fortime filling of vehicles with‘Fuelmaker’ compressors. The nozzle is best suited forthis application.
TK4 differs from type TK1only by a higher flow rate, thus being designed forfast filling.
Patented Fueling Nozzles TK1 Slow Fill TK4 Fast FillTK4i for Italianstandard
Features:
• Compatible with the NGV1 receptacle profile(TK1/TK4)
• Compatible with theItalian receptacle profile(TK4i)
• Push-Pull actuation
• Plastic thermal protection
• WEH-JAW locking mechanism
• High-grade materials - corrosion resistant
• Integrated shut-off valve
• Compact design
The new TK1 and TK4 fue-ling nozzles are far moreeasy to operate. The clam-ping jaws are opened whenthe nozzle is disconnectedand the sliding sleeve neednot being pulled back toconnect the nozzle.
This “push to connect“ feature makes even difficult-
to-access receptacles easyto refuel due to the extendedconstruction of the nozzle.
Innovation! The fuelingnozzle type TK4i has beendesigned especially for theItalian NGV market enab-ling to connect to theItalian receptacle with apush-pull nozzle.Functioning is the same asfor type TK1/4. The jaws ofthe TK4i are constructed toavoid marks on the recepta-cle, as often realized whenusing ball valves.
12
WEH also offers appropria-ted adaptor nozzles (seepage 30) for Italians withthe new Italian standard, who have to refuel inGermany.
FunctionThe jaws of TK1/TK4 andTK4i fueling nozzles clamponto the receptacle. Whilethe fueling nozzle is con-nected, the shut-off valve inthe nozzle will open. Thepressure-tight connection isestablished.

Type TK22 is WEH's fuelingnozzle for NGV refueling ofbuses. The compact designand the unique WEH-JAWlocking mechanism providea pressure-tight connectionwithin seconds.
Patented Fueling Nozzlefor fast fillingbuses and trucks
Extensive trials have beencarried out during thedevelopment of the WEHfueling nozzle type TK22 tomeet all requirements ofNGV refueling.
Features:• Push-Pull actuation• Extremely high flow rate• Plastic thermal protection
• WEH-JAW locking mechanism
• High-grade materials– corrosion resistant
• Integrated shut-off valve
• Compact design
To achieve optimum perfor-mance it is recommendedthat the WEH-TN5 recepta-cle is used with the TK22fueling nozzle. For self-serverefueling we recommendthe WEH type TK25. For further informationcontact WEH!
Application:The Type TK22 can be usedwherever the system ispressurized and vented bythe filling station. You don'tneed expensive fuelingnozzles with complicatedcheck valves.
Easy push-pull connection. The nozzle only has to beplaced onto the receptacleand the clamping jawsclose. Disconnection iseffected by pulling back theouter sleeve thus makingoperation child’s play.
Connecting procedure:Place the nozzle onto thereceptacle and bring the sliding sleeve into the for-ward position.➞ The jaws of the fuelingnozzles clamp onto thereceptacle. When connected, the integrated shut-off valveopens; the pressure-tightconnection is established.

• 1 integrated Venting-Valve
• 1 Hose 35NG06 (Length 3m).(the components forconversion of the service car are not included in this set)
vehicle converter. The tankof the service car will berefueled with CNG at theservice station. The servicecar running for this purposeon petrol then drives to thebroken down mono-fueledvehicle and refueling withCNG starts with the WEHemergency fueling set.
The service nozzle TK6 isplaced into the receptacleof the service car. Anothernozzle is connected to thebroken down vehicle with ahose so that both vehiclesare connected to eachother.
The ball valve at the bypassof the service vehicle isopened. A lever is actuatedat the service nozzle TK6 of the service car openingthe valve of the receptacle (receptacle with checkvalve). The gas is lead at the fueling nozzle TK4 intothe empty tank. Whenrefueling is completed thefueling nozzle at the brokendown vehicle is vented andcan be removed. The lever
at the service nozzle of theservice car is actuated andthe valve (receptacle withcheck valve) is closed. Thenthe ball valve at the bypassof the service car is closed. The hose is vented by anintegrated venting valve atthe TK6 and the servicenozzle at the service car canbe removed, too. Now themono-fueled CNG vehiclecan drive away with a fullCNG tank and the service
car can return to the servicestation running for this purpose again on petrol.
