How did you use media technologies in

the construction, planning, research

and evaluation stages?

The InternetThe internet has defiantly helped, especially in the research and planning

stage. It has enabled us to look for inspiration and other short film are available to watch online, on sites such as Vimeo and Youtube. These are

sites which allow people to upload videos they have created to the internet, they can then be viewed by anybody who has the link or searchs

for the file.Even to collecting film posters and double page spread to enable us to copy their style and give our products a professional look. Google is a search engine which allows you to search for images over the www.

Cameras & Final Cut ProWe used a HD camera this has enabled us to get a good standard video

clips, we then edited them in Final Cut Pro, this is a very technical software and allows you to add transitions cut clips, speed clips up and slow them down. It is used in the film industry and is a good program to

use when creating a low budget short.

Garage Band This is a music software that allows you to create sound effects such as the ticking and the background noise to the party. Garage band is also a highly technical software and enables our film to be professional. Once

creating our clips we then exported them as MP3 files and Imported them onto final cut pro.

Adobe CS4 Programs such as Photoshop have enabled us to create Posters and a

double page spread to a high and professional standard. Editing brightness and contrast to create bright eye-catching images and editing

backgrounds so it all fits together as a brand.

Digital SLR camerasEnables us to create good quality images for our print work, adding to

there standard and professional look.

BloggerBlogger has enabled to display our work online, you are able to comment feedback and embed things made on xtra normal and slideshare which

converts files and provides you with an embed code to put onto your blog. Xtra normal allows you to display work creatively and prevent pages and pages of text. Slideshare allows you to share power points in the style of

a a online blog.

Web 2.0Has enabled me to present my work online using a range of multi-media

devices.

The technology used has been a big advantage and has defiantly been worth using to create a professional and high standard look, however it has present many problem, computers been very slow and systems been

down. I believe my skills in using this technology have very much advanced this year and I am now confident in using program like Final

Cut Pro to edit video clips and use Photoshop to enhance images.
