“Techno-Marketing”, the premise of which is to communicate more directly andmore freely with today’s more complex – and often more jaded – consumer, business and media audiences. As the world’s largest source of cutting -edgetechnologies, special F/X, futuristic icons, techno -art, and advanced interactivemultilingual Robotic personalities, IRI has developed a reputation for successfullycombining the appeal of technological wizardry with a fair amount ofcommunication psychology.

With a sound appreciation for the modern consumer’s mindset, IRI assists itsclients in understanding how to attract consumers, com municate and directthem, forge lasting relationships, and - by association with the Techno -Marketing™ experience - develop a favorable outlook towards a given product orservice. As a global alliance of scientists, physicists, inventors, engineers, techno -artists, futurists, and roboticists, IRI’s resources in tec hnological wizardry is asvast as its experience in the field of communication psychology. The companyalso offers its services in such related disciplines as Concept Development,Theming, Design, and Marketing know-how.

In the context of displays and ex hibits, trade shows, corporate events &promotions, retail venues, amusement parks, museums, casinos, consumerenvironments and public spaces, etc., IRI’s consulting services and technologicalexpertise leads to the following benefits:

a) Capture: Overcoming the jaded attitude of today’s more complex consumer, business and media audiences. In today’s technology -driven and oftenstressful society, where traditional marketing and advertising strategies areoften lost amidst the sheer volume of commercialism, t his is accomplished bycommanding the attention and respect of your target audiences through featsof technological wizardry well beyond the experience of the averageconsumer…wizardry that makes no demands on that consumer, but simplyacts as a mesmerizing, entertaining, and non-threatening medium.

b) Develop a “relationship”: As IRI mixes its very innovative technologies witha considerable dose of communication psychology; these technologies are ableto spontaneously alter their psychological make -up so as to appeal to – andcommunicate with – any age, social or ethnic group you wish to target, withequal success and impact. The resulting benefit is that these technologies –unlike direct contact with human beings in more traditional approaches – havethe uncanny ability to overcome the many constraints of business and socialprotocol. They are afforded the privilege of speaking more intimately andbonding very spontaneously with a given audience. When expertlyorchestrated by the team of Techno -Marketing™ experts at IRI, thisphenomenon occurs with the least amount of stress, fears, insecurities, ordefense mechanisms possible on the part of the target audience.

c) Motivate: The ability for forging such a lasting relationship, and of being ableto bond so spontaneously with a given audience, is an essential source oftrust, and in obtaining a consumer’s respect for a product or service, as well

as a desire to act. This psychology succeeds where traditional messages thatextol a product or service’s superiority a lone might fail; such messages havebecome predictable in the minds of today’s more suspicious consumer groups, whereas taking the time to develop a relationship first and then leading thenow trusting consumer towards the product will more successfully mo tivateaction on the part of that individual. This psychology is akin to our favoringproducts recommended to us by people in whom we trust, such as closefriends, family members, friendly co -workers, etc.

d) Inform, Educate and Entertain: Since the Techno-Marketing™ mediumtends to be perceived as engaging, non -threatening, and often veryentertaining, there is a more considerable opportunity to inform and educateconsumers within the property or exhibit. This ensures the target audience iseducated with the least amount of resistance or stress, a prerequisite for anyform of education or communication to have lasting benefits.

e) Slow Time Down: Techno-Marketing™ experiences are by nature a pleasant, relaxing and often therapeutic interlude in a consumer’s very rushed and oftenstressful life. As such, the experience tends to “slow down time”, creating anunconscious desire to remain in that more favorable environment for anextended period. This extended period of time represents time spent aroundyour product or service, rather than your competitor’s, and a statisticallyincreased potential for sales and commerce.

f) Word of Mouth: In a world where technology rules a good portion of oureveryday lives, encounters with the feats of technology that make up thearsenal of Techno-Marketing™ will tend to leave a lasting impression on themind of its audiences. These individuals are more likely to talk about yourproduct or service as they socialize with family, friends and co -workers if theycan do so by relating the experiences they had with the very magicaltechnologies you used to communicate with them.

We therefore ask that you look upon the following Techno -Marketing™ tools asnot simply technologies to be placed within your property or exhibit for the sakeof simple entertainment value. These tools are to be strategically deployed withinthe architecture of the property or venue to provide a multiplicity of experiencesfor the consumers, which will be both pleasantly overwhelming and entertaining, providing the incentive for listening, learning, exploring, acting, and doingbusiness with you.

When properly applied, this technique will:1) Serve as a psychological “yellow brick road” for consumers to follow;2) Dramatically assist in delivering the maximum amount of visi tors to any

given property, exhibit or venue; and,3) Provide experiences that will – by volume – make it possible for consumers

NOT to feel totally satiated upon leaving the property, thus needing to comeback again and again.

UMENU OF TECHNOLOGIES

The following technologies are presented and quoted based on creative and technical estimatesonly; changes, plus or minus, will result from taking into consideration the nature and theme ofthe project, the time involved, complexity, special requirements, etc. As such, the se technologiescan be scaled up or down once we have a better understanding of your project and are able tocreate a more accurate plan for the event, venue, project or property. As these expenses mayvary, depending on the sum total of the technologies s elected and how and where they may beinstalled and used, no shipping, travel, or installation related charges are presented, nor are feesrelating to any special hardware requirements (dependant on where and how such technologiesare mounted). These can be estimated more accurately when final choices are made.

Millennia Series: U fully computerized, programmable &/ or remote controlled, with fluid movements.

IRI’s trademark adult-sized, interactive roboticmascots and spokespersons have long been theworkhorses of the industry. IRI’s latest creation,“Millennia,” is a jewel of engineering. Beautifullycrafted, this robot is fully programmable, remotelyoperated, or a combination of both, withextraordinarily fluid movements and a head and bodythat can fully rotate in opposite directions. Thesuperior engineering, design, and eloquence of thisrobot will please the most demanding audiences. Therobot is operated by trained professional comediansand actors who are educated, cultured, and highlyentertaining, as well as multilingual in many cases.

The operation is done by way of a proprietary microprocessor -controlled and highly miniaturizedwireless system completely concealed under the entertainer’s clothing. Thanks to this advancedtechnology, the entertainer can control all of the robot’s body movements and provide speech byway of an “electronic ventriloquism” t echnique…and do so at close proximity to the robot whileremaining transparent to the audience. It is extremely impressive and entertaining to simply

UTHE SEGWAY HUMAN TRANSPORTER:How & Where: On-site transportation.

IRI is very proud to announce its alliance with the Segway Corporation as an official demonstrator of the avant -garde Segway Human Transporter about to revolutionize the world of personal transportation as we know it.

The Segway HT is now available for sale in 2003 through HTUwww.Amazon.com UTH or by contacting Segwaydirectly at HTUwww.segway.com UTH. In the meantime, IRI is providing live demonstrations of the Segway worldwide, including a special tour of 85 auto shows in the US in partnership with the Ford Motor Company. We feel theSegway HT can play an important role in a lot of business venues, including trade shows, conferences, corporate seminars (where an executive can make a dramati c entrance onstage), etc.

USEGWAY DETAILS U:The Segway HT has the potential to change the way we travel short distances around cities because thewheelbase is no wider than your shoulders. The Segway HT does not take much more space than a humanbeing and is therefore the only “human transporter” of its kind that can be used both indoors or out. Amazingly, the Segway HT can be ridden in mud, snow, sand, and over many sorts of uneven surfaces.

How does Segway HT move? It doesn't have brakes or an accelerat or, because it doesn't need them. What itdoes have are gyroscopes, high-powered electric motors, and microprocessors that measure and respond tochanges in your body's position 100 times every second. Lean forward, you go forward. Straighten up and youstop. Lean back, you move back. Riding the Segway HT is completely intuitive; you could say the Segway HTacts like an extension of your own body, allowing you to go further and faster while carrying more. You cantravel up to 17 miles on a single charge wit h a top speed of over 12 miles per hour – about three times fasterthan you can walk. To recharge, just plug Segway HT into any standard household outlet.

Segway HT works as a transportation solution when paired with your car, and also works well aroundpedestrians. Underneath all the engineering, Segway HT really is a pedestrian, in large part because thetechnology is based on the way we walk and balance.

The two wheels move independently and can spin in opposite directions, allowing you to turn in plac e. As itbalances at any speed, even standing still, the Segway HT is almost impossible to tip over. This createssome exciting real-life business possibilities. Right now, Segway HTs are being tested by the US PostalService, the Boston police department, and major corporations like GE, Michelin, and Delphi Automotive. Theways Segway HT can help forward -thinking organizations like these more effectively manage time whileboosting productivity are virtually unlimited.

International Robotics is particularly excited about the potential of the Segway HT for its international clientele. Now you've met the Segway Human Transporter. It's what's possible when we aren't bound by the limits ofconventional thinking. The Segway Human Transporter is the brainchild of inventor/entrepreneur Dean Kamen.

UPRICING: U The Segway HT presently sells on Amazon.com for $4,900.U

Hypersonic Sound-Beam U

How & Where: Welcoming messages and announcements. Adding audio to signage, external billboards,LED video screens, etc.

There are a great number of applications within aproperty for this extraordinary technology, includingsignage, as sound sources for our holographic glassscreens or other informational kiosks, etc.

We also recommend using the holographic glassscreen (described further on) as a magical videodisplay to be used in the property for people toaccess information and for you to delivercommercials. The Hypersonic Sound Beam caneasily be the sound source of choice for thesestrategically located screens, so noise pollution is notan issue and people can conveniently accessinformation without disturbing others. We alsosuggest, in large properties especially, that youpresent the Sound Beam to any “tenants” as a further

incentive of how unique and attractive this n ew property is going to be. They will no doubt be amazed andimpressed if you show them how their areas will be equipped with the means to deliver private envelopes ofcommercial messages to those consumers who walk past or approach their windows.

Use the Sound Beam at various locations and near the entrance of the property to deliver welcoming andinformational messages in many languages by beaming the Sound Beam envelopes over flags you paint orproject on the floor (for example).

Use the Sound Beam as a fully live and interactive concierge service where visitorscan step onto “INFORMATION” logos on the floor throughout the property, then have atwo-way conversation with a concierge who can help guide them, make reservationsfor events on the property or restaurants, locate stores, etc. Use this in conjunctionwith the Holographic Glass Screen to display visuals. These screens will pay forthemselves in advertising revenues (see “Holographic Glass Screen” further on). If youhave giant billboards (LED, video, etc.) on the outside façade of your property, why notalso make them the world’s first billboards to communicate with visitors through audiomessages? How about an outdoors version of the Sound Beam, where you paint acertain area on the ground for visitors to stand on to hear the audio portion of thesebillboards? This will be a magical experience and will add to the attractions on yourproperty. We can place this sound envelope hundreds of feet away if you wish.

USOUND BEAM DETAILS U:International Robotics has repeatedly demonstrated the impossible by remotely transmitting tightly focusedsound waves, aimed specifically at any object, sculpture, wall, ceiling, floor and other surfaces, including one ormore people. The hypersonic sound waves travel silently through space, up to 300 feet away, and then convertwhatever surface they impact into an instant sound source. Amazingly, if you aim this magical device at aperson, their head will “become” a speaker as they hear the transmitted message as thou gh “inside” their head.

UPRICING U: The Hypersonic Sound Beam can be custom designed and manufactured for indoor and/or outdooruse. A new point of purchase and very compact unit was released in August of 2002. This unit will costbetween $800 and $1,500 per unit, depending on features and quantities ordered. [Please note that, due tothe tremendous success of this technology, there is a backlog of current orders; allow eight to ten (8 -10) weeksfor delivery, with the understanding that IRI will do its best to deliver earlier.] There may be custom workinvolved in creating installations for your property and applications. This technology is ONLY available in aversion with connections for outside sound sources (CD, DVD, cassette, microphone, etc.).

UHolographic Transparent Glass Screens:How & Where: On-site kiosks. Signage. Interactive characters.

This is the finest quality holographic glass screen available – a proprietary technology allowing you to displayinformation in a captivating way throughout the property.

Freestanding format Mounted on storefront window

The plate of glass that mysteriously becomes a high brightness video or computer screen – the next step beyondplasma technology! Shown here is a custom IRI computer-generated and fully animated mermaid who actually

interacts live with visitors…even her voice comes from the screen!

The magical part of this technology is the clear glass element and hidden projectors with re -engineered lenses, which permits the projector to be hidden from view and project at very sharp angles without distortion of theimages. More importantly, these screens remain very bright under ambient light. We can even offer aspecial model you can place outdoors in front of your prop erty to display visuals during special events and otheractivities for visitors to see.

You can have these screens freestanding from the floor, mounted several feet away from walls, or evensuspended from above. Use them as kiosks throughout the property so visitors can access information or watchcommercials. In conjunction with the Hypersonic Sound Beam as described above, these screens will be anexcellent way to captivate visitors and motivate them to watch the displayed information.

Also, if you have read about the amazing Hypersonic Sound Beam in this document, imagine an installationwhere visitors can simply step onto a sign on the floor that allows them to enter an invisible sound envelopewhile accessing a live concierge service through the Hol ographic Screen (actually a remote operator sitting at adesk elsewhere in your property or exhibit, watching/hearing the guests from a monitor). Visitors can thenaccess information, get directions, make reservations, ask to see visual information on prod ucts and services, etc., and do it all while being highly entertained by the experience of speaking to a mysterious host on thisextraordinary screen technology.

We can also create a computer -generated version of a character (cartoon, “brand”, etc.) that is very realistic andwell animated and would appear on the Holographic Screen playing the role of “host”, answering questions, showing information, and entertaining (see the “Cybernetic Actor” technology below).

UHOLOGRAPHIC SCREEN DETAILS U:Glass screens have come and gone over the years, but nothing matches the quality and brightness of thisextraordinary, patented plate of transparent glass, which, thanks to a unique holographic film integrated into theglass, has the amazing property of capturing the light from a hidden projector and displaying still or videoimages clearly, on both sides, even under sunlight!

Imagine such transparent glass, suspended or freestanding, in an exhibit, retail venue, museum, corporateinterior, etc., displaying announcements, acting as kiosks, or - as shown at the Techno-Marketing™ Showroomin New York City - acting as a “home” for an interactive computer -generated character you can speak to.

Depending on the model used, visitors can experience the magic screen images p rojected from one side or theother, and the absence of a video projector directly facing the Holographic Screen on either side addsdramatically to the illusion of a plate of glass having become a video screen. You can also use this technologyto create a beautiful video wall, tiling these screens together in a suspended form. This would be quiteimpressive looking.

UPRICING U: Screens are available from 50” to 100”, measured diagonally, and prices will range from$3,800 to $12,000, plus mounting hardware and installation as required. Projectors can be purchasedeither directly by you or we can perform this service for you. You will be able to use projectors of varied qualitiesand brightness levels (lumens), depending on the location and application. Such projectors may vary in costfrom about $3,000 and up.

HoloPresenter 40” The HoloPresenter 40” screen isan all-in-one system designed for Point of Interest solutions. In a lobby, tradeshow, store, or display window, your message will use holographic t echnology tocreate superior projection performance in high ambient light applications.

TThe HoloPresenter is an upright standing glass panel, which is equipped with aholographic projection screen of 40” diagonal at the top. The lower portion can be

used as an advertising medium. The projection takes place through a concealedintegrated video projector and a mirror so that this unit can be used as a stand -alone system. Viewers look right through the screen into the space beyond, andnever into the projection source, making the Holo Presenter a very magicalexperience T

UCONTENT PRICING: U Please bear in mind we are talking about hardware only at this stage and that any videoor graphics content would have to also be considered in terms of cost. This require s a fair amount of work andplanning, and can best happen when we have had a chance to work together to establish just how and whereyou want to use the Holographic Screens, developing a unique character (and any other background images),and working on what the character is to project (some amount of this can be paid and provided by your tenantsif it is their commercial information), etc.

Figure 3. Walk Through Fog Screen with two adults, shown for scale .

The fog screen is non-breakable, which enables safe gaming, exercise or training, and non -supervised publicpresentations. It also enables the audience to enter and exit rapidly through the walls into, e.g., virtualenvironments, which may be even sequential. Mixed reality and immersive projection technology can useCAVE-like virtual rooms with fog walls, making them effectively “virtual virtual rooms”.Many of us have heard of the giant outdoor water -screens used to project large video or still images. The ne wlypatented Walk-Through Fog Screen is a novel, low-cost, and simple method for forming a superior quality, physically penetrable, fog display. It is literally a break -through technology! This screen maintains its consistentshape and thickness and recovers instantly from air disturbances when visitors walk through it. Quite amazingreally!

HOW IT WORKS: The basic components of the screen are a laminar, non -turbulent airflow, and a thin fogscreen injected into and inside a laminar flow. Created this way, the fog screen is an internal part of the laminarairflow, and remains thin, crisp, and protected from turbulence. First generation models have been producedwith a honeycomb element as a low-cost laminar airflow generator. Liquid nitrogen is used to form a very dense, white fog, coupled with warm water. By keeping the mean diameter of fog droplets small, this so -called “dry fog”does not wet clothes or harm equipment, and it appears dry to the touch. When the screen is formed, imagescan be either rear- or front-projected onto it (still images, video, or computer screens can be displayed aspreferred). Also, as is typical of most IRI display technologies, it is possible to cause a fully interactive person orcomputer-generated host to appear on the Fog Scr een and interact live with the audience. We can even createthe illusion that the sound is coming from the Fog Screen itself if desired by using our Hypersonic Sound Beamtechnology!

The first working models have already proven the operating principle wit h excellent results. Experiments willcontinue over the next few years in the area of both the laminar airflow and the fog creation. For now, the Walk -Through Fog Screen is available for purchase, and will be designed to your specifications, within the lim its of thetechnology.

Applications:The Fog Screen enables many novel applications for both indoors and outdoors, although it is notrecommended for outdoor areas where strong winds are expected (for understandable reasons). Nevertheless, the effect looks extremely magical when produced in the middle of an open space, either indoors or out, andwith visitors being able to walk through the Fog Screen in any direction!

Mixed reality and immersive projection technology can use CAVE -like virtual rooms with fog walls, making themeffectively “virtual virtual rooms”. The fog screen is non -breakable, which enables safe gaming, combat exerciseor training, non-supervised public presentations, exhibits and displays, museums, corporate lobbies, retail storesand mall kiosks, and countless other applications. It can also enable an audience to enter and exit rapidlythrough the walls into virtual environments, which may even be sequential. Interesting applications could includewalk-thru advertisements on shops or ma lls, or a walk-thru screen entrance to a theme park or museum, corporate lobby or exhibit, and even for stage presentations.

OPTIONS:The Walk-Through Fog Screen is presently slated for rectangular shapes, approximately 4 to 6 feet in height, and approximately 6 to 8 feet in width. The Fog Screen could also be produced in non -planar surfaces likesharply curving cylindrical shapes. We also envision being able to join several Fog Screens together, effectivelycreating a very wide continuous screen, or a gia nt circular or square fog environment, etc. Imagine a 4 -wall FogScreen unit arranged in a perfect rectangle, onto which is projected a life -size automobile viewable from allsides. In keeping with IRI’s philosophy that technological wizardry is a powerful medium for capturing theundivided attention and admiration of today’s more complex and jaded consumer audiences, the Walk -ThroughFog Screen is certain to mystify and motivate any audience to look, listen, remember, and act.

Instead of using blowers, natural wind could be used to generate the airflow. If the laminar unit and fog nozzlesare suspended over a bridge or such constructions, enormous vertical and/or horizontal fog screens becomepossible under suitable weather conditions.

UPRICING U: Pricing will vary depending on size and installation requirements. Please contact us with thedetails of your project or possible application, and we will gladly offer creative recommendations, andcost.

UANTHROBOT: water-based Animatronic robotHow & Where: Creating special characters at the venue.

First generation produced for Ford

IRI and its engineering team have reinventedanimatronics to satisfy the needs of our clients for aneasy-to-install and simple-to-maintain animation, which nonetheless offers the complexity ofmovements of advanced hydraulic systems. Ourteam was the first ever to produce the highlycomplex anthropomorphic robot technology in apackage that could be set up and dismantled fortemporary events such as trade shows, conferences, business seminars, publicpromotions, etc.

For those of you familiar with the typicalmaintenance demands of complex anthropomorphicrobots, it is easy to appreciate why the AnthroBo t istruly the world’s first “plug & play” hydraulicAnimatronic robot, using water instead of hydraulicfluid (no more leaking damage problems). TheAnthroBot (pictured on the left is the 2 P

ndP generation)

is also the first sophisticated Animatronic technology of its kind that can interact “live” with the audience whenoperated with its optional Tele-Presence exoskeleton body-sensor suit.

As the exclusive supplier of Techno -Marketing™ services to Ford Automotive for the past 20 years, IRI hasbeen traveling the entire world with an AnthroBot, setting this complex machine up at auto show exhibits andoperating the robot live to interact with the media and visiting public. We have never failed a single show yet, demonstrating the reliability of this new form of Animatronic technology.

Even more exciting is the fact this technology breaks new ground in being extremely compact, using tinyindividual compressors for each body -motion and requiring minimal maintenance. No more hydraulic or aircompressors, no more extensive hook-ups to air or water lines, no more downtime because air or water lines failor hydraulic fluids leak. Extremely life-like in its body motions, the AnthroBot is the most compact andeconomical operating system of its kind in the world. It will definitely serve you well in this venue ifAnimatronic technology is desired. We can produce simple, low cost versions of this technology, or the mostcomplex systems needed.

UPRICING U: AnthroBot, in its fully clad package, including the exoskeleton b ody-sensor suit for liveremote, can be purchased for around $450,000. We can also produce simpler Animatronic systemsusing either electric or water -based hydraulics at costs starting at $65,000, depending on the degree ofcomplexity and features desired.

URobotic Interactive Mammal in TankHow & Where: Another strong, memorable entertainment ex perience for visitors. We propose a veryrealistic dolphin visitors can actually talk to or simply watch splash about in its tank.

Question: How do you show a live whale if it is inhumane to capture and cage one? Answer: A whale robot. These museum-quality creatures are not just for museums. Imagine a whale in the lobby of a hotel or mall.

No matter what the venue, we can create a life -size whale (orany sea creature) that is fully robotic, able to very convincinglymimic the swimming motion of the re al mammal. Not only are themotions precise and totally fluid, but the skins are also fabricatedwith such attention to detail it’s difficult to believe it’s actually a robot.

The IRI robotic team recently installed such a display in Japan, andwe can propose other, more compact versions for your company, inthe form of a fully interactive robotic dolphin in a compact aquarium. As visitors are told, this mysterious dolphin was found swimmingnearby and, to the amazement of scientists, it was wearing a

mysterious collar that enabled it to verbally communicate with human beings. It was learned that the dolphincame from an advanced civilization somewhere deep within the sea and was eager and willing to be housed atthe property for a time so as to satisfy its curiosity for how humans lived above water, sharing with them itsunique perspective of our planet and eco -system.

Information: Visitors can speak directly with the dolphin through aspecial “speech translator” that converts the dolphin’s chirps and wh istlesinto a gargling, high-pitched, but comprehensible, voice. It can becontrolled by an on-board computer to simply animate during off -times, oroperated live by way of IRI’s fully transparent robot remote controlsystem, enabling an operator to mingle with the audience and directlycontrol the voice and animation of the robot dolphin for those memorablelive conversations. We would train the live operator to learn aboutoceanography and ecology so as to add a positive slant to theentertaining conversations the dolphin would have with visitors. Highlyentertaining, educational, and guaranteed to draw a big crowd.

PRICING: We anticipate a cost of $425,000, including the aquarium and electronics, and wireless remoteanimation system for your remote opera tor.

Giant Flat Plasma Gas Displays :

How & Where: Install these cost -effective, very decorative, interactive displays in various parts of theproperty. They require little or no maintenance, are sensitive to touch, and can be silk -screened withany logo or graphics. Use these as signage by mounting them on walls.

IRI first licensed this technology of flat electrical sparks discs to one of its clients a few years ago, and they havebeen enormously successful in the retail world. However, for those special commercial installations, ourcompany now offers giant models or custom shapes. The innovative flat glass design enables the displays to bemounted flush on surfaces and walls, or to even be used as tables and countertops. Fully interactive to touchand sound, these novel new plasma gas displays have a considerable advantage over the old er generationround glass spheres, in that they use far less energy to operate, mount more easily in many places andsurfaces, and never weaken in intensity, as was the case with glass sphere plasma displays of the past.

LIQUID TIME WATER CLOCKS:Based on ancient Babylonian, Greek and Roman cultures, one of our physicists has succeeded in engineeringthe world’s finest Clepsydra clock, accurately displaying the time b y moving colorized water through an intricatenetwork of precisely sculpted clear glass vessels.

What is truly amazing about the hydraulic principle of the Liquid Time Clock is that its principle engine is thegravitational movement of the liquid as it d escends from the upper reservoir to the glass lower holding tank. Thegravitational pathway of the liquid through the maze of sculpted glass chambers, tubes and other vesselscauses powerful pressures and suction effects, which in turn send precise amounts of fluids down the two sideglass columns of spheres representing the minutes and hours of the day.

There is nothing like the Liquid Time Clock, and it will stand proudly in any commercial, residential and publicenvironment. The clock is very low mainte nance, and its water-based display has the uncanny property ofslowing the concept of time for its viewers, as they congregate around the sculpture and inspect its function, mystified by its mix of elegance and hydraulic engineering. Visitors often remain fixated on the Liquid Timesculptures for extended periods of time. Unlike traditional clocks and time pieces mounted in commercialenvironments, Liquid Time actually entertains and keeps consumers within your property for extended periods.

These sculptures are custom produced for you based on your preferred size, theming of the structure (can bemade to look ancient, futuristic or to reflect any period or culture), ceiling height, and mounting and installationpreferences (can be suspended from ceiling, floor-standing, covered or exposed, held between walls orbalconies, etc.). PROGRAMMABLE, FREE-FLOATING SPINNING SPHERES,CEILING AND WALL UNITS:

A few years ago, single-color versions of these 12” diameter programmable message spheres started to appearon the market. IRI now offers the latest version of this technology, which permits multicolor programming ofgraphics, logos, text and animations to magically appear floating and rotating ins ide a clear sphere.

We also now offer ceiling and wall -mounted versions without the plastic sphere, approximately 42” in diameter. Here, a blade carrying an array of computer -controlled multicolor LEDs is made to spin rapidly on your wall orceiling, effectively disappearing from view; all that is left is your programmed graphics and animation, appearingto float in space several inches away from your wall or ceiling. These can also be mounted under glass andmade into tables…a very attractive concept. We also offer a non-spinning Light Rod version that can be wallmounted, placed on a countertop, or custom fabricated as a giant pole atop a building. In this instance, theoptical effect is reversed, and the viewer provides the movement to create the optica l illusion – naturally staringin the direction of this high intensity rod of rapidly strobbing lights and then looking away from the rod, an imageis imprinted onto the retina of the eye in 1/50 P

thP of a second, giving the viewer an illusion of a large im age having

appeared to float in space out of the corner of the eye. The internal computer can be set to create variousimages in different colors. It is an extraordinary effect.

12” programmable Message Ball. Hard wire many of these throughout your p roperty, or add a modem link to allowremote reprogramming of these displays at any time with your messages and graphics from your office.

WATCH IN FASCINATION AS THE GUITAR -BOT ARTISTIC SCULPTURE COMES ALIVE A ND PLAYSYOUR FAVORITE CLASSICAL, JAZZ, MODERN OR OTHER MUSICAL PIECES BY MOVING ITS OWNLINEAL CONTACT SENSORS ALONGSIDE EACH OF THE 4 -STRING INSTRUMENTS.

THIS TECHNO-ART SCULPTURE IS ANOTHER HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL ATTRACTION TO ADORN YOURCORPORATE EXHIBITS, CORPORATE INTERIORS, CONFERENCE ROOMS, MUSEUM EXHIBITS, RETAILAND CONSUMER VENUES, OR PRIVATE RESIDENCES.

In designing GuitarBot, the goal of our Techno -Artists was to create a truly novel ElectromechanicalSculpture in the form of an electrified sli de guitar that was versatile, responsive, and capable of fastand slow playing, easy to control, with high -quality sound, modular and portable. They also wanted toextend, not simply duplicate, the capabilities of a human guitarist.

The GuitarBot was first born in “Vectorworks”, a 3D CAD program. From the CAD model was craftedan actual working unit. After testing this unit, it was decided that a few further changes were neededto improve the musical qualities of the instrument. The Techno -Art team went back to the 3D CADprogram and made these changes, leading to the construction of a third and final design.

The final instrument consists of two or four independent single -stringed slide guitar units. The RoboticSlide Module (RSM) is controlled by a special DC servo motor, driving a pulley and belt that moves asliding bridge. Positional feedback is accomplished by a potentiometer on the opposite (non -driving)pulley.

The pick mechanism consists of four guitar picks mounted on a block which itself rotates on a shaft. The shaft is also belt and pulley-driven by another DC servo motor. Pick position feedback is achievedby means of a Photo-sensor which reads dark and light patterns on a special wheel locat ed at the endof the shaft.

A "clapper" solenoid is used as a damper which, when activated, closes on the string and stopsvibration. On each unit, a microcontroller with custom electronics and software receives MIDIcommands and controls operation o f the electromechanical components. Each unit is independentlycontrollable using a standard MIDI protocol. The program on each unit's microcontroller does the workof interpreting MIDI commands and translating them into actual/virtual Robotic playback con trol of theinstrument. This allows the musician or composer to control the instrument using standard tools suchas MIDI keyboards and sequencing programs with no additional computer or special softwarerequired. This ease of use criterion was applied to s everal additional Techno-Art Robotic instrumentsand their accompanying software.

Each unit is independently tunable and has a 2 -octave range with micro-tunable pitchresolution. The bridge can move from one end of the range to the other in 1/4 second, which the Techno-Art team felt was an important design feature. Each has anelectromagnetic pickup also of the Artist’s own design.

The Techno-Artists designed the picking system on these instruments, so as to beinterchangeable. Future plans call for the creation of several different actuationsystems that can easily be swapped in and out. Other possible mechanisms forplaying the string include bouncing, bow -like action, rubber or glass wheels, andelectromagnetism (i.e. EBow).

By making the units of the instrument modular, our team will be able to place them intodifferent sculptural and aesthetic contexts. The IRI Techno -Artists who conceived theGuitarBot have several ideas for future designs in which to incorpor ate the guitarunits, including a pyramidal structure with integrated speakers and amplification, andan anthropomorphic humanoid "Guitar God" robot.

GuitarBot is now available for rental or purchase. We also propose the newest addition in self -playingRobotic Musical Instruments, the Robotic Violin, accompanied by the Self Playing Piano:

After successfully developing a consumer launch strategy for the Segway Human Transporter (seedescription earlier on in this document) with Ford, IRI has seen a definite i nterest for marrying theappeal of novel new transportation technologies with other businesses. This concept has especiallybeen proven successful in the automotive industry, where such compact and comparatively shortrange vehicles cannot compete with aut omobiles and therefore become very complementary tools toattract the consumer’s attention to the automobiles. In the Auto Show industry where IRI orchestratedthe integration of the Segway in a Ford Exhibit at all Auto Shows across the US, such a vehicle wasinstrumental in delivering to the Ford Exhibit a larger group of consumers and media visitors, apercentage of whom subsequently became interested in Ford products. The Oxygen Electro -Scooteris slated to follow in those footsteps and IRI will soon be presenting this concept to leading carmanufacturers for the 2004 Auto Show circuits.

Shiny Balls Morphing Mirror - 2003

Shiny Balls Mirror is a large physical object made of 900 hollow metal tubes with polishedmotorized chrome balls placed in them which move forward or backwards as pixels, morphing to mimic the image of t he person standing before it. The whole piece has theform of a large hexagon. This system is being developed for various sizes, to becomeavailable for Displays & Exhibits, Museums, Corporate Interiors & Lobbies, etc.

Each hollow tube and shiny ball act s as a single pixel which has the ability to change itsbrightness by moving the chrome ball in (darker) or out (brighter) of the tube. A fewinteresting points about this display are the fact that it uses an hexagonal grid for thepixels rather than rectangular, also interesting is the fact that this display serves as amirror in the way it reflects the viewer as a whole, but it also reflects the viewer 900 timeson the shiny balls, making the positive content of the display (the bright pixels) the viewersthemselves.

Each ball is connected to a motor that can move it, and each 8 such motors are connectedto a micro-controller that controls their movement, each 12 such controllers are connectedto a serial bus. 8 such serial busses are connected to a host computer. The host computer

captures images from a centrally located live camera, and sends control signals to themotors to move the balls in a manner that would create an image that is a roughrepresentation of the captured image. The Shiny Balls Mirror can be a powerful attraction toany commercial or consumer environment and it is one of many interactive technologiesoffered by International Robotics.

It is possible to use several units together to create a larger image.

Dimensions, materials:56 inch wide, 49 inch tall, 16 inch deep aluminum tubes, Chrome plated balls, servomotors, video camera, computer.

UB-KOOL FOR CORPORATE GIFTS & INCENTIVES

NOW, FIGHT HEAT EXHAUSTION WITH A NEW POCKET-SIZED, SOLID-STATEELECTRONICS, PERSONAL BODY -COOLING DEVICE. USES A BATTERY -OPERATEDCHIP TO CREATE A COMFORTING OR THERAPEUTIC COOLING EFFECT AT THE PUSHOF A BUTTON.

Hand-held, cell-phone size UB-Kool is all solid state and will cool you i n seconds.

BRING INSTANT COOLING COMFORT FOR: Combating Heat Exhaustion after intense exercise of during heat waves Applying instant cold to muscles after Sports Injuries Hot Flashes Fever Cooling your body while walking or riding in hot climates

Called “UB-Kool”, and about the size of a cell phone, this totally solid state device uses no chemicals or fluids ,yet, at the push of a button, a pleasant -looking ice blue convex disc on the surface of UB -Kool instantly begins tolower its temperature, until it literally becomes as cold as an ice -cube. If overcome by uncomfortable heat both inand out of doors, one simply places the smooth disc against the main artery in the neck, and the device begins tocool the blood flowing through that artery, bringing insta nt and pleasant comfort to the body as it lowers yourtemperature. The device can be applied to any other part of the face or body as desired, including cold -therapyapplications over damaged muscles or joints during sports injuries for example.

Hold UB-Kool to your neck to lower the temperature of the blood circulating through your main artery, andfeel your body temperature come down. Place it on your wrist, arms, legs.

“UB-Kool is safe to use, totally self-contained, and does not require any other ou tside components tooperate.” Explains IRI CEO Robert Doornick, “The product can be manufactured as a simple battery

operated unit, or as a rechargeable battery device which you replace into a charger just like a cellphone. One could also power or recharg e the device from car cigarette lighter adapters, just like cellphones.” Amazingly, one could also manufacture a similar device that generates both warm and coldtemperatures, thanks to the special electronic chip’s properties, which cause it to alter itstemperature if voltage is applied in reverse.

“This new technological wizardry is certain to revolutionize the consumer world, as well as thepharmaceutical industry,” adds Doornick, and patents have already been applied in a number ofother applications, including:

The cooling or warming of a car or truck’s interior while at rest A hot/cold portable seat cushion Wrap-around hot/cold therapeutic bandages, head -bands and compresses Hot/Cold inner soles for footwear Hot/Cold vests for Construction Workers, Firemen, Entertainers, Elderly, etc.

Imagine the value of people working under intense sun -heat while having to wear uniforms, such asPolice Officers, Firemen, Amusement Park Costumed Characters, Construction Workers, etc. Hownice would it be if these individuals could wear a UB-Kool Vest which cools their body at the push ofa button.

Imagine the same individuals working in intense cold winter weather, and having the same ability towarm their body at the push of a button as well. No chemicals, no pol lution, no wear and tear!

Professional and Amateur Athletes can now combat the greatly feared heat exhaustion with Seats,Head-bands, Chest/waist-bands and Vest, Hats, etc. How about entire cooling blankets for rescueunits. How about using UB-Kool to cool the inside of a camping Tent for the Military or Recreationalusers. The list of applications is endless and IRI is ready to license the technology to manufacturersas well as custom design/engineer any application required.

ANOTHER CORPORATE GIFT IDEA FOR YOUR EVENTS!

NEW FLASHLIGHT OFFERS GREATER SAFETY AND PEACE OFMIND WITH SWEEPING HIGH -POWER OSCILLATING BEAM TOLIGHT-UP A MUCH WIDER AREA AHEAD OF THE USER.

An amazing new flashlight called the “Oscillating Torch”, “O -Torch”, or “SafeTScan”, is being introducedby the Techno-Marketing™ alliance of International Robotics, Inc. The flashlight uses a unique patentedelectromagnetic motor installation that cleverly oscillat es both the reflector and the high-power Xenonbulb to cause a sweeping motion of the intense and concentrated light beam housing. When you pressthe “Sweep Mode” button, the beam will sweep 20 times per second to the right and left, giving its useran unprecedented wide field of vision up to an amazing 75 feet. Unlike a traditional flashlight, whichmight use a different shaped lens to deliver a broader beam, the O -Torch accomplishes this feat bysweeping the single white beam across the field of vision.

This technology will offer consumers and professionals a considerably greater level of safety and peaceof mind, thanks to its greater angle of view. A homeowner can now light up a wider path in any directionwhile working in a garage or basement or simply walking the dog. A security guard or law enforcementofficial might flood a suspicious area and dramatically increase their ability to instantly evaluate asituation over a much greater area. Whenever desired, the rapid scanning motion of the lamp h ousingacts as a strobe light and allows law enforcement officers to make themselves more visible whenpointing the flashlight at others, oncoming traffic, etc.

Set the O-Torch back to the “Spot” mode, and it returns to a bright and straight penetrating spot, likeany other flashlight.

The O-Torch will be ideal for home, industry, camping, government, fire & law -enforcement officials, security guards, schools, the military, rescue missions, etc.

There is a built-in storage space in the battery cap, cont aining a spare Xenon bulb. The lens and moving reflector are both heavy duty for extra durability. The O-Torch has a high-impact rubberized "soft touch" finish for easy grip and water resistance. There is one multicolored LED battery status indicator, whi ch turns green to indicate over 50%

battery capacity, or yellow to indicate 20% to 50% capacity, or red to indicate below 20% capacity. While round in shape, the Flashlight is designed with two flat edges to prevent O -Torch from rolling

away from you if it is placed on a slanted surface, or to aim it securely at an area you wish to lightwhile remaining hands-free.

O-Torch comes with a nylon strap for easy carrying. The Flashlight requires three D-size batteries.

FOR YOUR FLOOR OR CEILING

Figure 1The world's first digital video floor mat

Marketing executives are continually searching for ways to beat their competition bydevising and implementing new methods of advertising.

For example, you can now place static advertisements on the floor directly in frontof the item being promoted, displayed or sold. Because a strong aspect ofadvertising has to do with competing for the attention of an easily distracted, oftenvery jaded, and oftentimes resistant business, consumer and media audience, theFloor Video is just what the doctor ordered for prov iding a sufficiently new

experience for people who are simply not accustomed to seeing video commercials, presentations and animations taking place under their feet. As a result, you will beamazed how much traffic and attention your video messages will re ceive in anyenvironment, including Trade Show Exhibits, Retail Venues, Corporate Lobbies,Museums, Airports, etc.

For example, imagine people entering your space and first being attracted by anon-commercial effect such as a giant aquarium with fish swim ming under theirfeet. A few moments later, the Video Clip switches to a field of tulips flowing intothe wind in the Netherlands, followed by a peaceful walk at the beach with wavescaressing the sand in front of you. Then, while we have your attention, t hesebeautiful and relaxing video clips are interlaced with brief commercial messagesabout your product or service. A guaranteed hit in any venue. Standard orcommercial sizes are possible.

In one independent study, floor advertising increased the sales volume forparticular products up to 192%. Since floor advertising was first used in 1994,industry leaders state that floor advertising has become the fastest -growing mediain the history of in-store marketing. The Intelligent Mat is the next step in floor advertising and messaging. It involvesusing an electronic display, with image quality similar to that of a flat screenmonitor, in combination with a floor mat to display a dynamic message toindividuals walking over and/or using the mat. The mat is por table and is capable ofbeing placed throughout stores, professional buildings, and large public areas. Inaddition, the mat can be updated and changed, via the Internet, from a remotelocation. The Intelligent Mat has the potential to be a powerful market ing tool and has thecapabilities to provide numerous functions. In addition to displaying flooradvertising, the electronic display housed within the floor mat can be used to givedirections or instructions, as well as provide a unique aesthetic. Further, IntelligentMat has the potential to be interactive with the consumer.

Imagine using the Intelligent Mat as a Kiosk in a corporate Lobby or in a Mall, where people can access information, then the video animation literally displays afloor plan in a perspective you can understand, since you are already standing onthat floor; including arrows pointing to the path you must follow to reach the storeof your choice!

Intelligent Mat Benefits Include:

Ø DynamicØ Audio message capabilityØ Multiple advertisements can be placed on one matØ Using the Internet or Satellite Technology, the advertisements can

be instantly and wirelessly revised, updated, and changed from aremote location

We can also project large interactive video onto nearly any floor surface or

very exciting and memorable way by stepping on the right icons , etc.

Museums, etc.

These wall mounted or free-standing flat water walls magically double as giant

video screens as the water gently ripples down their surface. We can also supply a

live interactive talking face to communicate with your target audiences, or use them

to display a mix of relaxing beau tiful images intermixed with your commercial

GIANT MOTION SENSING INTERACTIVE KIOSKS

Kiosks have traditionally been very limiting in terms of both their attraction and –

most importantly – their throughput! Usually, only one person can interact with the

small simplistic screen, and such devices do very little to satisfy the needs of the

Advertiser.

The Giant Motion Sensing Interactive Kiosk brings new life into the Kiosk concept by

creating a very theatrical experience which draws the atte ntion of bystanders as

they watch a spectator interact with the large screens by simply gesturing and

never actually touching the surface of the screen. The large images, clever

graphics, animations and sound effects are a Show in and of themselves, and yo ur

Interactive Kiosk suddenly is communicating with dozens if not hundreds of

onlookers each time someone uses it. The motivating way of accessing your

information also makes for a more pleasant and memorable experience for the

users. Remember the philosophy behind the science of Techno-Marketing™: If your

target audience enjoys the medium through which you communicate with them,

they in turn think more favorably towards your product or services.

Brain-Control Table Ball Game

The Brain BallBrainball is a game that goes against the conventional competitive concept, and alsoreinvents the relationship between man and machine. Instead of activity and adrenalin, it ispassivity and calmness that mark the truly successful Brainball player. Brainball is uniqueamongst machines since it is not controlled by the player’s rational, strategic thoughts anddecisions. On the contrary, the participants are dependent on the body’s own intuitivereactions to the game/machine.

At first glance, Brainball seems similar to a traditional two player game – two peoplechallenge one another and take their respective positions at each end of a table that is laidout with two goals and a little ball. The rest of the game’s equipment is more special. Bothplayers wear a strap around their forehead that contains electrodes and is wired up to abiosensor system. This system that is used to measure the body’s biological signals, istightly fastened to the frontal lobes and registers the electrical activity of the brain - socalled EEG. The players’ brain activity is graphed in a diagram on any attached display/monitor so that the public can easily follow the players’ mental processes during the match.

The brain waves that move the ball forward, increasing the chance of victory, are calledAlpha and Theta waves. They are generated by the brain when one is calm and relaxed. Aconsiderably stressed player will therefore lose.

The matches’ outcome is rarely obvious since the transition between calm and stress, and viceversa, can occur quickly. Often, the ball will roll backwards and forwards for a few minutesbefore the game is concluded. In this way, Brainball is an exciting and social game where theaudience can follow the match by watching the ball on the table, the graph on thedisplay/monitor and the more or less relaxed expressions of the players.

Game Variations

The game is played so that the player being most relaxed wins the game when the ball rollsinto the opponent’s goal. Another interesting way of playing the game is to cooperate insteadof competing while trying to maintain the ball at its start position in the middle of theplaying area. It is also possible to play Brainball in an inverted way, that is to say - the playerbeing most excited wins the game by making the ball roll “home”.

You can also play Brainball three against three or one against three if you connect the BrainballMultiplayer (see page 2).

EEGThe EEG (electroencephalogram) is an electrical waveform that is recorded form the brain by using ele ctrodes appropriatelyplaced on the forehead, then amplifying and displaying the electrical signal using a computer. The so called Theta Waves occurwhen you are (day) dreaming and feel drowsy. The Alpha Waves occur when you feel relaxed and calm, but not drowsy. You cangreatly increase the occurrence of Alpha and Theta Waves by training throughout biofeedback, and by doling so learn to obtain arelaxed state of mind. Biofeedback is given in many different ways. One way is to present the occurrence of Alph a and ThetaWaves graphically, as in Brainball.
