DISCUSSIONS

Based on the finding result, individual work is more favourable.

1. Prove their abilities to handle, manage, implement and analyse project.

2. Responsibilities from members were difficult to achieve.

CONCLUSIONS

1. This study has shown that most of the final year

UTHM students either diploma or degree were agree

that individual work was suitable for final year project.

2. Most of the group's work is not as effective as if the

group in question, they couldn’t achieve their success.

3. Group work or individual work, each has its

advantages and disadvantages, so it always depends

on the individual and his choice if it is discussed.

RECOMMENDATIONSRecommendations Based on Findings

1. Even if individual work is better, it might be good if students are given choices whether to implement their final year project in group or individually depends on the type of project they chose.

2. Students should be involved in their own assessment in order to become reflective practitioners.

3. Students are allowed to choose the task based on duration given to complete the task.

Recommendations for Future Research1) Further research could also explore that each

member’s contribution should be assessed fairly so that each members will do their share perfectly.

2) Since the study had only focused in University Tun Hussein Onn students, it is recommended that further studies be carried out on students from other universities to see whether there are any similarities in the findings.

3) Lastly, research including students from all year groups would be beneficial for determining if individual or group work is better in doing project work .
