Part 1 :

GENERAL REGULATIONS

1.1 Dispositions

When reading these regulations, never forget that any modification or addition to the engine and / or its

accessories is prohibited if it is not expressly authorized.

By modification, we understand all the operations likely to change the initial aspect and the dimensions

of an original part. It is strictly forbidden to transform the internal configuration of the original engine by

polishing, removing or adding material.

Any modification and / or assembly which has the consequence of distorting a value and / or its control is

prohibited.

The driverss or their tutor are responsible for the conformity of their equipment.

The machining, assembly and adjustment tolerances indicated on the technical sheets refer exclusively to

manufacturing tolerances. However, it is absolutely forbidden to carry out any intervention on the engine

and / or its accessories, even if the dimensional characteristics fall within the limits prescribed by

tolerances.

The technical sheets in force are listed in the summary summary document IAME Series BENELUX DR

2020 in the index in force. They form an integral part of these technical regulations and their annexes

For any point not included in these Technical Regulations and its annexes, the CIK technical regulations

and annexes in force will be applied.

Compliance checks will be carried out by the IAME Benelux Series technical team in collaboration with

the Federation's technical team. It is the latter and it alone that will draw up any findings of non-

compliance.

One or more person (s) authorized by the promoter of the IAME Series BENELUX or the promoter himself

will be able to participate in the technical controls and will have access to the data collected without

these being able to be communicated to third parties (except for the Federation and / or at IAME SpaSU)

The authorized person (s) may be an authorized IAME Series BENELUX dealer. In this case, the authorized

dealer or the promoter may propose the checks to be carried out, in consultation with the technical

teams from IAME Series BENELUX and of the Federation.

During technical inspections, only serve as an absolute and indisputable references are:

• These regulations

• Approval sheets or technical sheets

• Comparison with the standard element

(PART 1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS – 1.1 Dispositions)

In the event of a controversy during a technical inspection, the disputed parts may be retained and

sealed to be sent by the organization to IAME S.p.a.S.U, which will carry out an appraisal in the factory.

The decision of the "IAME" prevails over any dispute of the elements mentioned above.

For drivers in the Benelux Zone:

Engines can only be purchased and serviced from IAME Series Benelux authorized dealers. They will have

to wear their original serial number, unless derogation (replacement of a damaged crankcase)

Engines used in the IAME Benelux Series must be accompanied by an identification passport filled in and

authenticated by "IAME-Belgium" or "IAME Nederland" and will be sealed by an approved dealer in the

Benelux area.

For foreign drivers (drivers from outside Benelux Zone):

Only these drivers will be authorized to use engines which have not been sold and maintained by "IAME-

Belgium" or "IAME Nederland", these drivers will be issued with a temporary passport for each event.

Special dispositions:

• X30 Junior & Senior categories

All engines must be equipped with the "new" cylinder with the "IAME" engraved gasket plans and fitted

with the pin locking system

• X30 Cadet, Master & Gentleman categories

The engines can be equipped with the "old" or the "new" cylinder (Cylinder with engraved Gasket Plans /

locking pin system, OR NOT)

• Number of engine allowed

1 "race" engine and 1 "spare" engine are authorized per meeting.

• Engine passport and seal

For drivers in the Benelux area, the engines must be sealed with a numbered IAME seal which only an

authorized "IAME-Belgium" or "IAME-Nederland" dealer can affix or remove. The seal number will be

clearly indicated on the passport as well as the name of the team and its signatory (IAME Series RT

Annexe N ° 04)

(PART 1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS – 1.1 Dispositions)

For foreign drivers using engines that are not from a dealer in the Benelux area, the engines must be

sealed with an IAME seal. A temporary passport will clearly indicate the name of the team and the

identity of the signatory. The signatory is the responsible of the team which undertakes as to the

conformity of the engine concerned.

• Passport deposit at technical control:

The "race" engine passport will be presented during the scrutineering. It will be checked that the engine

seal and serial numbers are correctly indicated on the engine passport, it will be kept for the duration of

the event by technical control.

• Engine change after Qualifying Practices:

In the event of a breakage or significant problem of an engine, proven and noted by the Technical

Delegate, the competitor may use his "Spare" engine in place of his "Race" engine. BEFORE using it, the

competitor must present himself with his “Spare” engine for technical control with the passport of the

engine concerned in order to check the serial numbers and engine seal numbers.

• Sealing of an engine:

It is forbidden to unseal a "race" or "rescue" engine from the qualifying practice under penalty of

disqualification for the meeting.

From the qualifying pracvtices, the engine seal can no longer be replaced.

• Technical non-conformity, sealed part of the engine:

In the event of non-conformity for the sealed part of the engine, the driver concerned will be excluded

from the meeting. The authorized dealer who sealed the engine will be held responsible. He may have his

approval cancelled depending on the gravity of the alleged acts

• Advertising :

Each driver must provide a space on the bodywork of his kart reserved for the sponsors of the IAME

Series BENELUX according to a precise plan provided by IAME-Belgium.

Any display on the kart of a brand or direct competitor of one of the sponsors of the challenge is strictly

prohibited.

(PART 1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS – 1.2 Fuel and lubricants)

1.2 FUEL and LUBRICANT

A fuel from current distribution Gasoline 98 Unleaded, (E5-98 Standard EN 228) coming from the service

station (s) imposed during each event, without any additive added other than oil for the lubrication of

the engine, is the only one authorized.

The organization will designate and communicate the imposed service station (IAME Series RT appendix

N ° 02) or will be taken from the reference sample and this for control purposes by comparison of the

mixture used with the reference mixture. (IAME RT Series appendix N ° 01)

WLADOIL K2T oil is the only authorized lubricant

Imposed Concentration:

Mini and X30 Cadet: 4 to 6%

Other categories: 5 to 6%

The percentage used must be precisely written on the Equipment registration form, which must be

returned during the scrutineering.

Any exceedance of the limit set in relation to the reference mixture sample will be subject to a report of

non-conformity (IAME RT Series appendix N ° 01)

The control device used will be the DIGATRON brand fuel tester.

The organizer reserves the right to ask competitors to empty their tank and use in exchange a fuel

supplied by the organization, which will be lead-free 98 (E5-98) from the reference service station,

without any reclamation will be accepted.

In this case the mixing will be carried out in a closed park under the control of scrutineer, by the

driver or his mechanic, who must use for the mixture a sealed can of oil with its original sealing plug intact.

PART 1 (General requirements 1.3 Tires)

1.3 TIRES

1.3.1 Common Applications

For Dutch competitors, during "IAME Series Benelux" meetings, Tires for tests and vouchers for racing

tires (Slicks and rain) must be purchased from "IAME Nederland"

For other competitors, the tires must be purchased from "IAME-Belgium" or an authorized IAME-Belgium

dealer.

The tires must be used as delivered by the supplier. Any treatment which may modify the characteristics

of the tires is strictly prohibited. All on-board modification, setting and transmission systems for tire

pressure and temperature are strictly prohibited in all categories.

Checks may be carried out at any time during the event.

The "MiniRAE Lite" measuring device will be used to check that the tires are in compliance with the

regulations. The VOC measurement should not exceed 4 ppm. (maximum value)

Tire pollution (e.g. unsuitable mounting product, chain spray, fuel, etc.) must be avoided as it may cause

the limit value to be exceeded.

If a check reveals that the tires are not in compliance with the regulations, the driver concerned will not

be authorized to access the Pre-grid and therefore will not participate in the corresponding part of the

competition.

The organizers of the series reserve the right to keep the tires in a closed park without notice.

Note:

The competitor who finds a defect on a tire during registration must have it noted by the tire manager.

The competitor who, on the same reference and the same type of tire, notes during registration a

difference in circumference equal to or greater than 15 mm may request that it be replaced.

Only unused tires may be exchanged, with the agreement of the technical delegate and the IAME-

Belgium manager.

1.3.2 Tires - Specific applications by category:

Mini-Parilla:

Authorized tires

Slicks: Komet K1D-M

Wet: Forbidden

Slicks "Race" tires

For Slicks "race" tires, competitors must purchase a Voucher from their respective authorized dealer. This

Voucher will allow them to collect from the organization a set of "race" tires from a single batch and

which will be scanned at the time scheduled in the schedule. Slicks "race" tires can only be used from

qualifying practice (All drivers will start qualifying practice with new tires) They will be checked before

each use (Qualifying practice and races)

Slick tire "spare"

To obtain the "spare" slick tire, competitors will collect a "spare tire" Voucher in due time from their

respective dealer. This Voucher will allow them to collect a spare tire from the organization, which will be

registered and scanned. This spare tire can only be distributed, registered and used after the Qualifying

tests.

Slick tires "Practices" *** FROM "TEST 3" UNTIL QUALIFYING PRACTICE (SEE TIMING)

For Slicks "Practices" tires, competitors will buy a Voucher from their respective dealer. This Voucher will

allow them to collect from the organization a set of "Practices" tires from a single batch which will be

scanned during distribution according to official timing. Those who wish to use a set of used tires (instead

of new) will also scan their tires during the planned distribution according to the official timing.

Registered tires will be checked before each session

This disposition applies from "TEST 3" identified on the timing of Friday until "QUALIFYING PRACTICE"

Authorized quantities: (Per meeting, for the concerned timing)

RACE SLICKS TIRES: 2 Front tires and 2 Rear tires Scanned from the qualifying practice until the end of the

meeting + 1 Front OR Rear Reserve (optional) from the 1st Qualifying Heat

PRACTICES SLICKS TIRES: 2 Front tires and 2 Rear tires Scanned from "TEST 3" on Friday until QUALIFYING

PRACTICE.

For the Sunday Morning Warm Up, the tires will be free, of the same make and type as those imposed in

the category. "Race" and / or "Test" tires may be used.

For Qualifying Practice, Qualifying Heats, Prefinals and Finals the only slick tires that can be used are the

“race” tires which will have been scanned for this purpose.

At their first participation in an event of the "IAME Series Benelux 2020", the drivers will have to register

new "race" Wet tires, they will exchange a Voucher during the scanning for this purpose.

From the second IAME Series BENELUX 2020 meeting, Wet tires, used or not, scanned during the

previous race, will be reusable as race Wet tires.

Wet racing tires must be registered at the same time as slick tires. It will no longer be possible to register

Wet racing tires after registering slick tires.

No exceptions will be allowed.

"Spare" wet tires:

For rainy "reserve" tires, competitors will collect a "reserve tire" Voucher in good time from their

respective dealers

This Voucher will allow them to collect from the organization the spare tire or tires that will be

registered.

This reserve tire (s) may only be distributed and registered after the Qualifying tests.

It is only after qualifying that the "reserve" rain tire or tires can be used.

“Practices ” Rain Tires

Only Komet K1W in number and free management

Authorized quantities: (Per meeting, for the concerned Timing)

SLICKS RACE TIRES: 2 Front tires and 2 Rear tires Scanned from the qualifying practice until the end of the

meeting + 1 Front OR Rear Spare (optional) from the 1st Qualifying Heat

SLICKS PRACTICES TIRES: 2 Front tires and 2 Rear tires Scanned from "TEST 3" on Friday until qualifying.

WET PRACTICES TIRES: free quantity and management

WET RACE TIRES: 2 Front tires and 2 Rear tires Scanned from qualifying practice until the end of the

This Voucher will allow them to collect from the organization a set of "racing" tires from a single batch

They will be checked before each use (Qualifying Practice and Races)

Slick tire "Spare"

This sparte tire can only be distributed and registered after the Qualifying Practices. It is only after

registration that the "spare" tire can be used.

For Slicks "Practices" tires, competitors will buy a Voucher from their respective dealer.

This Voucher will allow them to collect from the organization a set of "Practice" tires from a single batch

Those who wish to use a set of used tires (instead of a new one) will also scan their tires during the

planned distribution according to the official timing.

From the second IAME Series BENELUX 2020 meeting, the UNUSED wet tires, scanned in the previous

race, will be reusable as wet racing tires.

Wet racing tires must be registered at the same time as slick tires. It will no longer be possible to register

Wet racing tires after registering slick tires.

No exceptions will be allowed.

"Spare" Wet tires:

For Wet "Spare" tires, competitors will collect a "spare tire" Voucher in good time from their respective

Slicks "Race" tires

For Slicks "race" tires, competitors must purchase a Voucher from their respective authorized dealer. This

Voucher will allow them to collect from the organization a set of "race" tires from a single batch and

which will be scanned at the time scheduled in the Timing.

Slicks "Race" tires can only be used from qualifying practice (All drivers will start qualifying practice with

new tires)

They will be checked before each use (Qualifying Practice and Races)

Slick "Spare" tires

To obtain the "spare" slick tires, competitors will collect a "Spare tire" Voucher in due time from their

respective dealer. This Voucher will allow them to collect spare tires from the organization, which will

then be recorded and scanned.

These spare tires can only be distributed and registered after the Qualifying practice. It is only after their

registration that the "reserve" tires can be used.

Slick tires "practices" *** FROM "TEST 3" UNTIL QUALIFYING PRACTICE (SEE TIMING)

For Slicks "Practices" tires, competitors will buy one or two Voucher from their respective dealer.

Wet Tires "Race"

With each participation in an meeting of the "IAME Séries Benelux 2020", the drivers will have to register

new wet tires "race", they will exchange a Voucher during the scanning for this purpose.

From the second IAME SERIES BENELUX 2020 meeting, the UNUSED wet tires, scanned in the previous

race, will be reusable as wet racing tires.

Wet race tires must be registered at the same time as slick tires. It will no longer be possible to register

wet racing tires after registering slick tires.

No exceptions will be allowed.

"Spare" Wet tires:

For Wet "Spare" tires, competitors will collect a "spare tire" Voucher in good time from their respective

dealers

This Voucher will allow them to collect from the organization the spare tire or tires those will be

registered.

This Spare tire (s) may only be distributed and registered after the Qualifying Practices.

It is only after qualifying practices that the "Spare" rain tire or tires can be used.

For Sunday Morning Warm Up, the tires will be free, of the same make and type as those imposed in the

category. "Race" and / or "Practices" tires may be used.

For Qualifying Practice, Qualifying Heats, Pre-finals and Finals the only tires those can be used are the

“Racing” tires which will have been scanned for this purpose.

2.1 Mini-Parilla

2.1.1 Engine, accessories and equipment

The PARILLA PV60 MINI-SWIFT version 2007 or earlier engine is the only engine authorized

(Homologation form N ° 389)

The 2007 version is frozen to ensure the stability of the IAME SERIES Benelux Mini challenge motorization

for many years.

Versions after 2007 are strictly prohibited.

The engine must comply with the homologation form in force and be used with all of its original

accessories mentioned on the homologation form, except for the specific provisions mentioned in these

regulations.

No transformation, improvement, addition, removal of material or polishing of one of the elements of

the engine or one of its accessories is authorized.

The only exception is :The aluminum chain guard which can be modified to allow disassembly of the

chain without having to disassemble the engine.

Only original IAME spare parts are authorized during engine maintenance

Only 1 original IAME cylinder gasket 0.40mm thick (Tolerance + 0.02 / - 0.1mm) is authorized.

The Squish measured at any point must be 0.70 mm minimum.

Control carried out with a “tin / lead” wire (50% tin) from Ø 1.50 to 1.60 mm, according to the method

described in annex 12 of the IAME INTERNATIONAL SERIES

To avoid too low Squish value (no-conformity), it will be allowed to add 1 cylinder gasket of 0.05mm OR 1

cylinder gasket of 0.10mm (in this case the engine will be equiped with 1 gasket of 0.40mm + 1 gasket of

0.05mm or 0.10mm = 2 gaskets in total)

The start-up must be done by the on-board energy source starter system; however, in the event of force

majeure, the start may be made by an external starter and this at the discretion of the technical control

which will ensure that the driver arrives with a kart in start order within a reasonable time.

The centrifugal clutch must enter full gear and drive the kart at a speed of 4500 rpm with a tolerance of +

500 rpm maximum and this at all times during the race (at the start and at the finish) controls that can be

done in the starting grid and/or in the finish area. In case of pre-grid control, any driver who does not

comply with this rule will be prohibited from starting.

In the event of an arrival check, any driver who does not comply with this rule will be subject to a report

of technical non-compliance.

The rev counter used for the controls will be of the Alfano brand.

The O-ring Sealing between the clutch drum and the clutch hub is mandatory. The inside of the clutch

drum and the hub must be free of grease or lubricant.

The transmission ratio must be 0.1388 (IAME original 10-teeths drive sprocket / 72-theets rear sprocket,

imperative)

The original IAME exhaust pipe with integrated restrictor of Ø 18.30 mm Maximum, with sharp angle,

(not chamfered), without any polishing, painting or treatment is the only authorized. No addition or

removal of material is authorized (Homologation Form N ° 389 page 9)

The original exhaust pipe with original incorporated restrictor is the only one authorized (Homologation

form N ° 389 page 7)

The exhaust cannot be modified, added or removed, polishing, painting or chrome plating. At most,

cleaning to remove corrosion is tolerated.

An original exhaust pipe fitted with a temperature probe may only be used during free practice, official

free practice and Warm-up.

It is forbidden to use an exhaust pipe fitted with a probe support (even blocked) from the qualifying

practice with the exception of the warm-up (s)

The only spark plugs allowed are NGK BR8EG / BR9EG / BR10EG with their original seal and without any

modification. The spark plug used must be provided with its original seal, unless a temperature probe of

1.2mm minimum thickness replaces this one.

The only spark plug caps authorized are NGK TB05EMA and PVL 401 222 (ref. IAME 10543 & 10544).

An additional IAME ground braid is allowed.

The plate marked IAME Parilla fixed on the front of the crankcase is optional.

2.1.2 Bearings and Oil Seal):

Only crankshaft bearings of Type 6204 internal clearance C3 or C4 steel balls and polymer cage of SKF

brand are authorized.

However, bearings of the same type will be tolerated. Steel balls are mandatory.

The oil seals must imperatively be mounted hollow part towards the inside of the crankcase and not filled

with any material whatsoever.

It is tolerated to improve the fixing of engine oil seals by using a sealing paste. However, the oil seals

must remain strictly original IAME without any modification.

2.1.3 Carburetor and accessories:

The only authorized carburetor is the TILLOTSON HW-31A (model with Venturi diameter 17.15 mm Maxi)

in its strictly original configuration fitted with its 2 Thermic flanges (N ° 1 and N ° 2) as fitted (IAME FT

Series N 06 °) Any removal, addition of material or polishing of one of the elements of the carburetor is

strictly prohibited.

Only original Tillotson accessories and spare parts delivered with the carburetor and by IAME authorized

dealers in the BENELUX area are authorized.

The TILLOTSON needle kit Ref: 233-720P with the copper sealing washer is the only one authorized (only

1 original copper washer is authorized and compulsory)

Gasket and Membranes kits authorized: TILLOTSON only Ref: DG 1HW / Complete Repair kit authorized:

Only the fork spring is free, all other spare parts must remain original Tillotson and identical to the original. From 2020, carburettors will be provided with a supplementary 3mm hole in the body. The hole is created to identify and seal the carburettor for the countries where this procedure is prescribed by regulations. It is not affecting the carburettor functioning in any way.

The carburetor gaskets and the 2 flange gaskets (stacking prohibited) must be original IAME seals

(thickness 0.70 mm +/- 0.30)

The orientation of the carburetor on the engine is free.

The strictly original Air Box without any modification (Engine homologation form N ° 370) is the only

Only one chassis is authorized per meeting.

Maximum diameter of the rear shaft is 30mm.

Wheelbase must be between 900 and 950mm long (+/- 5mm)

Rear wide could be 113 cm maximum.

2.2.1 Engine, accessories and equipment

The IAME X30 (Cadet-Belgium) 14000 RPM engine is the only authorized engine equipped with SELETTRA,

Digital K (Type "F") or Digital "S" (Type "F" coil) electronic ignition (Data sheet 'approval N ° 349 / C) It

must comply with the approval form in force and used with all its original accessories mentioned on the

approval form with the exception of the specific provisions mentioned in these regulations.

The “old generation” cylinder is authorized (Absence of Pin Locking Sustem and Marking of gasket plans)

No transformation, improvement, addition, removal of material or polishing of one of the elements of

the engine or one of its accessories is authorized. The only exception: the plastic chain guard which can

be modified to allow the chain to be removed without having to remove it from the engine.

For 2020 (as transition year) the minimum diameter of the crankshaft seats will be 29.930mm Minimum,

measured with a calibrated Palmer and at room temperature.

The letter on the box or the electronic coil must be visible at all times without having to dismantle it or

any other element (harness, relay, etc.). The box or the electronic coil may be replaced at any time during

the race with a copy provided by the race’s organizer without notice. It should therefore be possible to

dismantle it from the kart without any mechanical intervention on one of the other elements. The race’s

organizer cannot be held responsible in the event of a malfunction of the box or the electronics

exchanged.

Only original IAME spare parts may be used during engine maintenance.

The only exception: Cylinder Gaskets (Free thickness, stacking allowed)

hot (IAME FT Series N ° 05)

An exhaust temperature sensor is authorized, the drilling in the duct must correspond to the diameter of

In the event of a possible crack, the exhaust pipe can be repaired (welding) without the repair changing

The original IAME thermostat (Simple or By-pass) is free and optional.

A fitting placed on a water hose and allowing the use of a temperature probe is authorized.

Any heater or connection system for heater on the water circuit is strictly prohibited

The original IAME "Pump group" (pump and pulley) must be correctly and completely assembled.

The pulley should be mounted on the rear shaft, belts in place on the pulley / water pump.

The mixing of plastic and aluminum elements is authorized.

The "alternative" radiator Ref.: T8001 (IAME BIG) is prohibited.

Cylinder protections of all types are tolerated provided that they do not provide any aerodynamic

advantage, that they are not protruding and considered dangerous.

An adjustable radiator screen (curtain) is allowed. This must be attached to the radiator. Adhesive tape is

tolerated as long as it goes around the radiator in such a way that it cannot be removed while driving,

even partially.

2.2.2 Bearings and Sealing Rings:

The crankshaft bearings of type 6206 internal clearance C4 and of balancing shaft of type 6202 and 6005

internal clearance C3 or C4 with steel balls and polymer cage of SKF brand (or identical) are the only ones

filled with any material whatsoever.

They will remain strictly original and cannot be modified.

The fork spring is free.

The carburetor gasket must be an original IAME gasket (thickness 1 mm +/- 0.3mm)

The 28 or 29mm conveyors (intended respectively for Tryton or Tillotson), of IAME origin, are allowed to

choose.

The conveyor / reed block gasket must be an original IAME one (thickness 0.8 mm +/- 0.3 mm)

The reed block / crankcase gasket must be an original IAME one (thickness 1 mm +/- 0.3 mm)

Only the Suction Muffler (Old Model) fitted with its rubber connector and its strictly original foam filter

element without any modification is authorized (Engine homologation form N ° 254 page 5)

Air box trumpet grilles are optional.

In the event of rain, a device preventing water from entering directly into the suction silencer is

authorized provided that this does not act as a venturi and favors the entry of a greater quantity of air

than the original suction silencer used alone.

2.2.4 Batteries

The crankshaft bearings of type 6206 internal clearance C4 and of balancing shaft of type 6202 and 6005

internal clearance C3 or C4 with steel balls and polymer cage of SKF brand (or identical) are the only ones

authorized.

The oil seals must imperatively be mounted hollow part towards the inside of the crankcase and not

filled with any material whatsoever.

They will remain strictly original and cannot be modified.

2.3.4 Batteries

VRLA Technology batteries (Lead / Acid / Gel) are the only ones authorized.

Lithium-Ion batteries are tolerated

In the event of rain, a device preventing water from entering directly into the air box is authorized,

provided that this does not act as a venturi and favors the entry of a greater quantity of air than the

original air box used alone.

The radiator, the water pump and the pulley are free (Electric water pump prohibited)

The original IAME thermostat system (Simple or By-pass) is free and optional

All heaters or connection systems for heaters on the water circuit are strictly prohibited

Cylinder protections of all types are tolerated provided that they do not provide any aerodynamic

advantage, that they are not protruding and considered dangerous.

An adjustable radiator screen (curtain) is allowed. This must be attached to the radiator. One or more

adhesive tapes are tolerated as long as they go around the radiator in such a way that they cannot be

removed while driving, even partially.

The gearbox drive sprocket can be Z15, 16, 17, 18, 19 or 20 teeth, IAME origin mandatory.

The original exhaust pipe (Engine homologation sheet N ° 343) is the only one authorized.

The exhaust pipe may not undergo any transformation. They may also not undergo any removal of

material or paint or any chrome plating or polishing treatment. In the event of a crack, it can be re-

welded without the repair modifying the interior shapes.

Drilling the exhaust pipe to allow the mounting of a temperature sensor (at the place specifically

provided) is authorized.

The length of the exhaust pipe must remain strictly original: 1 aluminum shim (Cod. IFH 20500 Thick: 5

+/- 0.5) and only 2 original IAME seals are required (Thickness: 1, 4 min in all circumstances)

Only exhaust curb Ref.: IZH-06100 (28mm) without any modification is allowed.

Authorized exhaust mufflers:

KZ1 / KZ2 CIK approved silencer 2014 - 2022

KZ1 / KZ2 approved CIK 2016 - 2024

CIK Approved KZ1 / KZ2 Mufflers 2019 - 2021

Elto Type 118 "Aluminum" and Elto Type 108 "Carbon" silencer (IAME FT Series N ° 9)

The exhaust silencers must imperatively remain in conformity with their homologation form, where

technical and be in good condition (inside and outside)

They must not undergo any modification of structure or dimension.

2.5.2 Bearings and Oil seals:

The crankshaft roller bearings of type BC1-1442 B are the only ones authorized (Steel rollers) The gearbox

shaft bearings of type 6205 internal clearance C3 or C4, 6204 internal clearance C3 or C4, 6202 internal

clearance C3 or C4 steel balls, steel or polymer cage, SKF brand are the only ones authorized, however

bearings of the same type will be tolerated.

The oil seals must imperatively be mounted hollow part towards the inside of the casing and not filled

with any material whatsoever. No changes are allowed.

2.5.3 Carburetor and accessories

The TILLLOTSON HB 15A strictly original carburetor is the only one authorized. Removal, addition of

material or polishing is prohibited.

Only original accessories and spare parts delivered with the carburetor and by IAME authorized resellers

in the Benelux area are authorized.

The TILLOTSON needle kit Ref: 233-717P with the copper sealing washer are the only authorized ones

(only 1 original copper washer is authorized and compulsory)

The TILLOTSON Membranes and Gaskets kits Ref: DG-1HB are the only one authorized.

The TILLOTSON nozzle Ref: 49-B58 is the only one authorized

The fork spring is free.

The carburetor gasket must be an original IAME gasket (thickness 0.80 mm +/- 0.20mm mm)

The conveyor / reed block gasket must be the original IAME gasket.

From 2020, carburettors will be provided with a supplementary 3mm hole in the body. The hole is created to identify and seal the carburettor for the countries where this procedure is prescribed by regulations. It is not affecting the carburettor functioning in any way.

The surfacing of the gasket plan of the reed block is authorized to allow the proper sealing of the inlet

conveyor and the crankcase.

The rubber fitting must remain in conformity with that shown on the homologation sheet of the used air

box, not any modification is allowed.

2.5.4 Batteries:

Technology VRLA (Lead / Acid / Gel) batteries are the only ones authorized.

Lithium-Ion batteries are tolerated.

At all times, the battery should be properly connected to the engine harness.

2.5.5 Chassis, accessories and equipment

All chassis approved by CIK from 2009 are authorized. Only one chassis is authorized per meeting.

Hydraulically controlled brakes acting simultaneously on all 4 wheels with CIK homologation for gearbox

go-karts are compulsory.

Steel or cast iron discs compulsory (Aluminum, Ceramic or carbon prohibited)

Ceramic ball bearings prohibited.

The manufacturer sticker on the rear axle is optional.

The CIK approved front fairing and mounted with the CIK / FIA 2015-2020 approved mounting kit or a CIK

approved front fairing compatible with the CIK / FIA 2015-2020 approved mounting kit is mandatory (CIK

The fixing must be done manually with the 2 adjustable hook clamps without the help of any tool for

both assembly and disassembly.

The distance between the bodywork and the front bumper in the correct position cannot be less than 27

mm at all points (IAME RT Series appendix N ° 05)

The plastic protection of the CIK approved rear wheels and its CIK approved supports are compulsory.

A safety device on the supports is authorized provided that it does not participate in any stiffening of the

chassis and that it is not protruding and considered dangerous.

Chassis protections are authorized provided that they are made of non-brittle materials, do not provide

any advantage (Rigidity, Aerodynamics etc.) and are not protruding and / or considered dangerous.

In the event of deterioration of the registered chassis and at the competitor's request, the stewards may,

after consultation with the technical stewards, authorize, if it proves irreparable, the replacement of the

chassis by a chassis of the same brand and of the same type.
