1.- GENERAL DESCRIPTION.

The cycle recreational collective is a four-wheel vehicle with a driver and10 units of pedalling that constitute the traction of the vehicle. Thistraction passes from the groups of pedalling (5 groups for each axis) to thetransmission axis, which is responsible for providing the required torqueto move the vehicle.

The transmission is to the rear wheels, while the front guide the vehiclethrough a direction driven by a wheel. The occupants of the vehicleresponsible for providing the power they are positioned in the seats of therecreational cycle, while, in turn, the upper part of the body rests on a bar.

The vehicle is fitted with a cover sheet metal and steel profiles, with theobjective of be preserved the occupants. In the deck, by the interior part, the 6 light bulbs auxiliary. Available, in addition, position lights, directionindicators and brake lights, to adapt to the road traffic.

These lights operate through a battery that is located on the bottom ofthe vehicle. It is not available for charging alternator, and therefore, thebattery

Risks during the conduction

CARE! BE PRUDENT! HIS SECURITY AND THAT OF

THIRD PERSONS IT IS IN GAME.

It is not necessary, in any case, to realize the adjustments of the seat when the vehicle be infunctioning

Page 45: TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE …€¦ · TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE RECREATIONAL COLLECTIVE Mod: BEERBIKE-2 As harmonized standards of the European community. 1.-

It is not necessary, in any case, to use the vehicle when the tires are not correctly inflated, theyare damaged or excessively worn-out.

Irrigations of electrocution

Not to realize any operation related to the electrical installation without earlier to havedisconnected the battery.

The tension of use (12v) does not imply physical risk, nevertheless, installation possessesprotections.

Protection by means of surrounding. The active parts are placed inside of surrounding with aminimal grade of protection from the direct contacts IP54.

Protection for isolation of the active parts.

The active parts are covered by an isolation that only can to be separated by destruction.

Protection against on intensities: fuses.

PROCEDURE OF LOAD OF THE BATTERY.

The operation of load must do of the following way:

- To check the state of the stoppers of respiration for if there was obstruction in some ofthem.

- At the same time it is necessary to verify the level of the electrolyte and refill with distilledwater or desmineralizada if it was necessary.

- They can make removed or lightly desenroscados the stoppers of the cells of the batteryas the instructions of the manufacturer

- To connect the corresponding poles of the battery and of the loader, taking care of thecoincidence of the polarity of both.

- Finally to connect the charger to a capture of alternating current.

For the unplugging it is necessary to follow the following operative one:

Page 46: TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE …€¦ · TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE RECREATIONAL COLLECTIVE Mod: BEERBIKE-2 As harmonized standards of the European community. 1.-

- To disconnect first of all the charger of the electrical network.- Later to disconnect the conectores of the battery.- Finally the stoppers are re-placed.

IMPORTANT: the operation of load and unplugging must carry out bearing in mind theinstructions of the manufacturer, which are exhibited in the cartel located along with theloader.

Risk of physical injuriesMechanical risks of fall of objects weighed on the feet and sobreesfuerzos in operations ofmanual manipulation.

- To use for the deforestation of the battery to load the mechanical means available. To avoidthe manual movement of weight.- To bear in mind for the use of mechanical means the norms specific.

Risks of fireRisk of fire and explosion caused by the detachment of hydrogen and oxygen in the presenceof a focus of ignition.

This detachment is weak with the battery in rest or in discharge but it reaches his maximumvalue at the end of the load and especially if he surrenders to one it overloads. The generationof these gases continues during approximately one hour after disconnecting the current ofload.

For such a motive it owes:

Page 47: TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE …€¦ · TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE RECREATIONAL COLLECTIVE Mod: BEERBIKE-2 As harmonized standards of the European community. 1.-

- To verify the load and to regulate the intensity that the loader gives. To bear in mind the recommendations of the manufacturer.- Before realizing some operation in a battery that has been loaded, it is advisable to leave heras minimum an hour and with the stoppers withdrawn, to ventilate every cell.- To avoid the foci of ignition in the outskirts of the sector of load as for example:

Fósforos or lighters used to look at the level of electrolyte for the orifices of added ofdistilled water.

Flames of blowpipes for welding or court. These operations they must realize inisolated places.

Sparks of teams of welding to the electrical arch.

Sparks for short circuits with hardware or metallic objects that contact the terminals ofthe battery. They can to avoid covering the terminals with insulating hood andusinginsulating hardware.

Sparks caused on having installed or having dismantled a battery of one vehicle whilethe current circulates along the circuit of battery. To avoid all the devices of the vehiclethey must be disconnected. The smallest consumption as that of the lights interiors ofa vehicle it can generate a small spark in the point in which the electrical circuit isinterrupted.

To smoke cigarettes. It is completely prohibited.

Sparks in the connection or unplugging of the battery with loader. It is necessary torealize the operation with the switch of disconnected loader. The conectores must gomarked his polarities to avoid confusions and damages to the battery.

Sparks on having dismantled the cable of the positive terminal of the battery of avehicle if it takes the negative pole to mass. The wrench or favorite used in theoperation can do contact with bodywork or a metallic mass of the vehicle. This isavoided

Page 48: TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE …€¦ · TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE RECREATIONAL COLLECTIVE Mod: BEERBIKE-2 As harmonized standards of the European community. 1.-

dismantling first of all the negative cable that is connected to mass. On having installedthe battery in the vehicle, it owes to connect first the cable not put to mass (in theexposed case the positive). The cable of putting to mass must be connected tobodywork and to the chassis of the vehicle.

Risk of collision

Be careful in the conduction and respect so much the norms of circulation like to thepedestrians.

When I transported the machine on a sloping surface or one earring, act with common senseand planning.

Risks derived from the use of damaged machines

Do not use any damaged machine or that does not work correctly.

Risks derived from the incorrect use

Never unattended accent a recreative multiple cycle with the users to I embroider. Notauthorized personnel might try to handle the machine without one suitable formation, causingdangerous situations.

Signs of warning

Zone of battery:

- Use protection glasses

5.-INSTRUCTIONS OF USE.

The collective recreative cycle is a vehicle of four wheels, with one driver and 12 units ofpedaleo that form the haulage of the vehicle. This one haulage goes on from the groups ofpedaleo (6 groups for every axis) to the axis of transmission, who is the manager of providingthe necessary pair to move the vehicle. The transmission is realized to the rear wheels, whereas front parts guide the vehicle by means of a direction driven by a frill.

The occupants of the vehicle entrusted to provide the potency posicionan in seats of bicycle, whereas, in turn, the top part of body rests on a bar.

Page 53: TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE …€¦ · TECHNICAL DOSSIER CONSTRUCTION CYCLE RECREATIONAL COLLECTIVE Mod: BEERBIKE-2 As harmonized standards of the European community. 1.-

The functioning is very intuitive, similar to that of any automobile but with human haulagegenerated by means of the pedaleo.

For the accionamiento of the lights the driver has switches in the left side of the position ofconduction, driving the lights of position and/or the interior lights. For the use of the flashingsignals, the vehicle he has a lever along with the frill of direction. The driver has of hornlocated in the same zone.

Before to the beginning of the trajectory it is obligatory that the driver explain the functioningof the regulation of the seats, and that he should verify that the position of the users on theseat is the suitable one, in addition to to remind to them that it is prohibited to throw objectsand bend the vehicle in movement

MAINTENANCE.

The basic maintenance consists of the review of the following points:

Every trajectory:

- Review of lights and flashing signals.

- Review of the regulation of the seats.

Weekly:

- Review of the pressure of the tires.

- Review of the state of the pills of brake and shoes.
