9-16-10 Preliminary Reform-Redesign Model Selection Due to MDE in MEGS

9-17-10 SRO Technical Assistance Meeting at Lansing Center

10-18-10 Preliminary Reform-Redesign/SIG Draft Application Due to MDE for review/feedback

11-16-10 Final application for Reform-Redesign due to MDE

12-18-10 MDE review of Reform-Redesign applications completed/local boards and PSA authorizers notified

12-19-10 through

9-5-11

Plan and/or implement redesign model

9-6-11 Implementation of redesign model must be started

By9-1-11

MDE notifies identified school communities regarding schools on the persistently lowest achieving list (2nd iteration)

• Feedback on redesign plan

• Final deadline for redesign plan: Nov 16

– Executed addendum included

• Approve, disapprove or change by December 18

• Changes due on Jan 21, 2011

• Disapproval may be appealed– Decision of State Superintendent is final
