Job Summary • Under the clinical supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides

personal support and homemaking services to individuals and families within our Supportive Housing program, within the framework of VON philosophy, policies, procedures and standards, in community health care. The PSW/HSW collaborates with members of the health care team in meeting the needs of individuals to attain an optimal leel of independence and well-being.

• This position is eligible for the PSS Wage Enhancement for direct time/hours worked. • Applicants from the CUPE 3741 bargaining unit will be considered prior to those external to CUPE 3741. • Responsibilities Collaboration with other health care team members is expected where and when appropriate.

removing any damaged equipment immediately from circulation. • Proactively addresses any member concerns or issues related to Lifeguarding and pool safety and/or escalates

them to the Youth Programs Supervisor for resolution. • Stays current on swim instruction, Lifeguarding safety techniques and standards. • Completes all administrative paperwork and tasks accurately, diligently and promptly. Maintains accurate

Primary Responsibilities: • Responsible for all aspects of Packhouse functions • Keep supervisors and workers motivated led by example and through training • Perform time studies • Learn paperwork for daily reports. • Learn all specs and food safety protocols in the Packhouse • Make sure all lines and the Packhouse are cleaned at the end of the day • Assist with write up as needed with the General Manager • Report any employee problems to the General Manager • Report any mechanical issues on a daily basis to the General Manager / Maintenance Manager • Order Labels and packaging materials as needed and keep sufficient inventory for daily packing • Be in contact with shipping/receiving admin. Concerning packaging inventory, daily packaging requirements,

supplies, shipments, etc. • Oversee and assess daily labour needs to ensure the flow from production to packaging is fluid and in a timely
