•Medico aims to become the number one source of information on medical tourism. It will establish itself in becoming a unique repository of information by becoming a referenced standard in the industry for the dissemination of viable information on medical treatment and tourism expenses in the top three ranked medical countries of the world.

• To trigger an increase in medical tourism from UK to India, Costa Rica and Malaysia by 15% in the next 2 years by becoming the number one provider of information on medical tourism.

• To strive in becoming the best information source that will attract at least 3 million views every month by providing trustworthy, up to date and accurate information on medical tourism.

• To become the most trusted source of information that will assist clients and potential clients with an enhanced decision making process.

• To systematically carry out and provide unbiased comparative insights through treatment quality and cost (price) analysis in three target countries with comparison to UK standard and cost.

• To become the most trusted source for advice and tips on travel to India, Costa Rica and Malaysia.

Risk ManagementPrimary Risks Identified for Medico• This is a business risk that result in losses due to a

situation of political unrest or war in any of the host countries (India, Malaysia and Costa Rica).

• This is a business risk that can cause losses due to a natural calamity in any of the host countries (India, Malaysia and Costa Rica).

• The risk comprises of legal implication such as lawsuits filed against Medico on the grounds of any problems or irregularities faced in medical treatment, or during travelling in India, Malaysia or Costa Rica. For e.g. Side effects of a laser eye surgery (LASIK).

• The risk comprises of legal implications such as lawsuits filed against Medico on the grounds of breach of data privacy or breach of the data protection act.

• The risk comprises of a disruption of services that may arise due to a disagreement or dispute with a particular or more than one travel agent.
