    Background Teaching Experiences.

    One of the fundamental professions in any place of the world is to be a teacher,

    although, the career of teacher is not consider like that. But if any society thinks in the

    importance of these professional in the world they are going to realize that we cannot

    live without teachers. They become others into professional because we cannot have

    other important people if a teacher is not included in the process. Anyone in the world

    knows that nowadays exist different careers that they can take in order to be a

    professional, but the case is that anyone that want to study a science needs to be in front

    of a teacher, just some examples that we can mentions: doctors, nurses, lawyers,

    engineers, and so on. This is why this is written, based in some small teaching practices

    about my own experiences. As any professional always we need to cooperate with our

    society that is why the social hours were created in universities in order to have the first

    experiences as professional.

    My first teaching experiences were developed in Centro Escolar de Ozatlnthis is

    located in the downtown of this city. In this paper in order you understand better I will

    develop in some teaching aspect that anyone needs to take into account in any teaching

    and learning experience. If you are a teacher or even if you are not, you will feel

    identified with these aspect because anyone that was a student could realize of this,

    developed by any teacher in the classroom maybe consciously or unconsciously way

    but is inside of the teaching process. No one can omit this if you are a teacher you

    always will find similar of the same things in the classroom.

    As it is mentioned before, I will divide this paper in five sections, important thing

    that I lived in the classroom. These will be organized as questions:

    1. How was the classroom management?2. How was the seating arrangements?3. How to recognize students?4. How did I start and finish a lesson plan in the classroom?5.

    What kind of teacher was I, and what kind I would like to be?

    The development of the questions above will be important for any student and

    teacher that is starting the career as a teacher or it is in the beginning as a new teacher in

    any subject. Of course the development of these teaching experiences were developed

    in English subject and from first grade to six.

    1. How was the classroom management?One of the difficult things for teachers is to manage the classroom, this is not just

    related to the physical presence of the teacher in it. Managing the classroom

    involved several aspects. According to: (Fransisca, 2012) this has to do with variety

    of the students, the classroom setting, and the activities for students to do, and most

    of all, the teachers physical presence and their ability to respond. So my firstexperiences was not difficult I tried to have a good classroom management. Maybe

    in unconsciously way I controlled the classroom. Always before standing with my

    students I organized my material, things to do and how to get their attention. The

    process that I used it was essential because at the beginning I made a diagnostic

    evaluation in that way I prepared every activity with them.

    In the classroom managing there are included other things as: Methodology,

    approach, method, techniques and so on. An approach is the particular way you

    deal with something (wet, 2013). So in simple word is to identify the need of you

    students if they need English as a foreign language, second and academy proposes.

    As we know we are living in a country where English is not spoken so the approach

    was a foreign language. When I identified the approach was easy to find the

    methods. In this period when was doing my social service as a teacher I was

    attending in a course where I learned different methods that I could use in the

    classroom. The most difficult thing that I can say is about the motivation that

    student has. Some students want to learn a new language but another not, but at the

    end they were active in the process and they were motivated.

    How was the seating arrangements?

    In this part is easy to explain, in my group I almost always used the traditional

    form that is called: orderly rows. I almost used this because I had large group

    around thirty and forty in every classroom. Sometime seating arrangement depends

    of the methodology that you use in the classroom but it is much better put them in

    group when they are a small group. I tried to make couples, group but was a

    disorder because they were children and the classroom was small. I do not explain

    other seating arrangement because it is about what I used in my teaching

    experience.

    How did I recognize my students?

    This part has to do about how you know your students there are teachers that

    memory every name of their student, but this depend if your group is small or

    how many time you have spent with them. It says that a good teacher knows the

    name of his student, but in my case was really difficult to memory every name of

    my student. As it is mentioned before I got a large group and just one or two

    hours a week. I can remember some name but not all, I used different strategies

    in order to communicate well with them as: dynamic for example every row I

    put a color name and inside the row a put a number name and that was how I

    interacted with them. They call me teacher when they had a doubt, and when I

    wanted to say something to someone I just pointed him/her.

    How did I start and finish a lesson plan in the classroom?

    Preparing lesson plan was not easy at the beginning for me, I have to admit

    that sometime I did not use a lesson plan and I have to say too that was difficult

    for me. If you are a teacher you need to prepare your class before, because you

    will lose control in the classroom. After of attending a course in the University I

    learn how to design a lesson plan and that helped me for being more prepare in

    an organizational way. For starting the lesson plan I always design a WARM-UP

    ACTIVITY. This is the beginning of your class is how you can get the attention of

    your student sometime I started my class with a dynamic or a little reflection

    about something or a little background information about the last class.

    For finishing the class or Lesson Closure, sometime I did some dynamic with

    reward the dynamic what I used was asking question to some student and if they

    answered well I gave them a reward something as candies or another thing.

    Other closure activities were: a little feedback about the class and giving them

    some homework for the next class.

    What kind of teacher was I, and what kind I would like to be?

    Being a good teacher is not easy because maybe some students are going to

    see you as the best one and other not, remember that we are working with

    people and not all the time we are going to be special as they want. As you were

    reading this paper you will conclude in what kind of teacher I am. Maybe I was

    unprepared teacher because I did not know everything about being a teacher.

    Sometimes I made a lot of mistakes with different student. The main problem

    that I have found is that I am not a good listener but I will try to improve with

    this.

    The kind of teacher that I want to be is a friendly teacher, always prepared

    and with a professional style. I know that this is not easy but I am in the way and

    I want to give all for a good change as a teacher. Now the challenge is hard as I

    mentioned before being a good teacher is not easy.

    As conclusion, for being a teacher we need to take into account different thing

    that are included in the process of teaching. If you want to teach you need to

    consider those aspect that are mentioned here. Managing the classroom takes not

    just a notebook but rather a teacher a prepared teacher. For having a good

    teaching process remember that the communication with your students is

    important.
