Analysis of Questionnaire about teachers' training:

The questionnaire for identifying training needs of teachers was designed to assess

perception of teachers about the educational concepts those were envisioned in

NCF 2005.

3.Teachers Training on guidance & counseling •Through discussions with diploma V.G.Trainee teachers from different districts

of the state.

•Demand of Trained teacher Counselors for refresher course.

4. Teachers Training of Science & Maths•From the school visits, observing teaching of science & maths in schools

interviewing students, teachers & parents & supervisors, discussions made with

science teachers, maths teachers & experts.

•Science and Maths subjects are integral part of school curriculum motivating

towards scientific research and update knowledge of science and maths teachers,

a well organized training programme for such achieving objectives was needed.

Selection of master Trainers

•Minimum experience of 5 years in teaching in secondary schools

•Computer literacy essential (Handling of computer Hardware &

software's)

•Proficiency in the subject area (which will be tested through a

questionnaire)

•Have done at least one innovative activity in schools

•Should posses good communication skills required for the trainer

•Conducted Divisional level Interview processes for Master Trainers

with the support of respective Education Officers of Secondary

Education.

•Interviews were conducted by the panel of DIET- Lecturers,

Professors of Psychology, Officers from Center of Human

Development at state level

•Master Trainers form all Divisions of Maharashtra State had been

selected through the interview process conducted by above panel.

their Day To Day annual planning.

Science & Maths Training :

•Trained teachers were motivated to use experimental approach in their day to day

teaching.

•Able to use internet & various websites to enhance their knowledge.

•Able to co-relate the syllabus with day to day life.

•Able to develop personality of their student by developing scientific attitude,

creative & critical thinking.

Adolescent Psychology :

Impact evaluation is under process and will be complete in the month of August 2013
