What do they do once they choose points or programs? If not already adding contact info in answering this question, let’s make it big at the bottom.

3 Parking Management/Preferential Parking. Offer preferred parking to those that carpool or vanpool.

3 Ego Car Share. CarSharing allows employees to choose between alternative modes first, and driving second. Consider an employer membership and provide this great perk to your employees. CarSharing is the perfect complement to the Eco Pass. There’s no better way to boost the value of that Pass than to provide your employees with access to a car during the day. Or simply provide the information to Boulder’s Ego Car Share to your employees for their own information. No car payments, car insurance, maintenance, registration are all benefits to the car share member. For more information about CarSharing, visit: ______

10 Paying Employees not to Not Drive /or Oother Iincentive. Reward employees for not driving to work with a $1.00 a day, time off or gift certificates. Perhaps they earn “transportation dollars” toward time off. The DRCOG BaseTrack program could help to track this type of effort. Boulder East could help your organization develop surveys that would track the program success and can also help with BaseTrack.

5 Pool Bike. Consider participating in the Boulder East pool bike program. This allows folks who did not drive to work access to a bike for daily errands, lunch and meetings. Joining the PoolBike program includes quarterly prize drawings for an employee who uses the PoolBike. Boulder East will also provide individualized marketing.

5 Encourage Bicycle Commuting. Provide preferred bicycle parking, lockers, and clothes changing facilities at your worksite to help make it easier for employees to bike to work. Providing bicycle routes would also assist employees. Reimbursement of employee cycling mileage expenses is another option of promoting this healthy, greener alternative.

3 Company Ttravel Rreimbursement Ppolicies. that Rreimburse bicycle or transit mileage for business trips when these modes are comparable to driving, rather than only reimbursing automobile mileage.

5 Transportation Displays/Kiosks. Ddisplay transportation options information such as maps and schedules at a convenient spot for employees and/or customers such as near the front entrance or the employee break-room.

3 Bus Pass Outlet. Consider setting up your location as a RTD Bus Pass outlet where employees can purchase bus tickets. There should not be a cost and perhaps this could be a customer service function. (Might need to explain a bit more)

3 Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH). GRH is included with the Eco Pass and provides a free taxi ride home from the office for employees who have an emergency arise on a day that they used alternative transportation. When an employee who uses alternative transportation has an emergency such as illness or an unexpected schedule change, Guaranteed Ride Home GRH pays their cab fare home from the office, up to 100 miles one-way.

5 Compressed Work Weeks. Flex-time and compressed work weeks are implemented as an employee and manager option and vary from day-to-day or week-to-week, depending on circumstances. Employees working compressed work weeks may spend less time commuting during a given week and have more time outside of work to take care of personal responsibilities; as a result they can be more focused on the tasks at hand during their scheduled work time. Compressed work weeks can improve work area coverage and extend the hours of service to internal and external customers. Employees with flexible
