IN HONOR OF PURIM……The Wonders of the
Human MIND!!!
The following paragraph may look “strange” (perhaps it was typed by
someone who drank too much wine…) yet- YOU CAN READ IT!!!
Dear Parents,

It has been fascinating to
study the characters in
“Behind The Bedroom
Wall”, and try to relate to
their conflicts. The 7th
graders have also pro-
duced their first, yet very
impressive, multi-
paragraph writing! Well
done!

We made the most amaz-
ing science energy carni-
val! Which booth did you
enjoy the most? Electric,
Nuclear, Thermal, Light,
Chemical, Kinetic, Poten-
tial or Sound Energy? The
girls did an unbelievable
job with their creativity!
Keep it up 6th grade!

This week the 5th grade started
learning about integers. We already
know how to add them. We are
learning all about the respiratory
system in science. We all figured out
what our lung capacity is. Aliza
Pekier and Sarah Rochel’s were the
largest! They had the biggest bal-
loon! We all enjoyed the free
spelling test on Thursday for Purim
shtick! The girls did a great job on
their book reports! We can’t wait to
get them back on Monday!
What an exciting week!

To our first graders - we’re so
proud of all our super amaz-
ing readers. You truly amaze
us! In just a few short weeks
you already strung your
“reading is a piece of cake”
chain all around our class-
rooms. Decorating your very
own clown cupcakes was “the
icing on the cake”. Keep up
your great work. Love your
proud Morahs!

Chapter 8 in math— a
whole new level of think-
ing, combining many basic
algebra skills and taking
up a notch. In history we
finished chapter 4
“Opening The West”, learn-
ing how the U.S settled in
the Great Plains.
Mrs Rubin
Did you hear the words table,
toy, tea, party, or ______ com-
ing from our classroom?
That’s because we learned the
letter Tt this week! We dis-
cussed how important it is to
brush our teeth every day,
and how to write our tele-
phone number. We played a
fun game of tic tac toe this
week as well! We can’t believe
we’re almost finished learn-
ing all our ABS’s! Wow! We’re
so big!!
Morah Esti
Primary A
What a terrific week we had!
We learned the letter T! We
built a tower with cups and
we had a winning team!
Right, Left, front, back - we
practiced how to brush our
teeth. We also practiced writ-
ing our telephone numbers.
It’s a very important safety
thing to know. In math, we
are learning how to add one!
Primary B is lots of fun
