WARNING

Warnings alert you to a possibility of personal injury.

CAUTION

Cautions alert you to a possibility of damage to the equipment

NOTE

Notes alert you to pertinent facts and conditions.

WARNINGSTo avoid electrical shock, always

1 Use a properly grounded electrical outlet of correct voltage and current handling capacity.

2 Disconnect from power supply before maintenance and servicing. Refer to servicing to qualified personnel.

3 In the event that fluid is accidentally spilled into the bath, disconnect grounded plug and turn equipment upside down to avoid fluid contacting the internal components.

To avoid personal injury

1 Ensure that this equipment is connected to electrical service according to local and national electrical codes. Failure to properly connect may create a fire or shock hazard.

2 Always use the gloves and handle to remove the substances out of the chamber

3 WARNINGHOT CHAMBER. The equipment will become hot and remain hot inside the chamber without visual indication for some time after use. Direct body contact is strictly prohibited. 1

INTENDED USEThis Autoclave provides an efficient performance for high pressure steam sterilization of liquid or hard goods. Features present cycle to sterilize media, dressing, instruments, liquid and labware either wrapped or unwrapped & other material that needs sterilization either in clinics or hospitals. Those substances that can produce the chemical toxicity or can become deformed through high pressure and high temperature are prohibited for operation.

Please refer to proper operation method established by technology for products applications or qualified engineers.

2INSTALLATION

Always use lift truck to deliver this autoclave.

Remove nails and steel packing strips by the proper tools. Remove starting from the top piece firstly, then the surrounding sides. Always handle with care.

WARNING: Heavy Weight, Handle With Care.

Use the lifter to deliver autoclave after removing the packaging material.

Place the equipment onto a flat and sturdy place leaving at least 5 10cm away from the wall.

Do not tilt this equipment. It will deform the legs of autoclave probably.

Do not place the equipment in a draft, sunlight or near a place of equipment, which emits heat as well as electromagnetic conduction emission.

Recycle the packaging materials.

Check the electrical specification label located on back of this equipment. Make sure the power specifications must conform to your local electrical code.

Plug the power cord into a properly grounded outlet.

To avoid virus infection, isolate this autoclave from other equipment.

WARNING

This equipment contains glass fiber insulation, which can produce respiratory fibers and dust when handled. These fibers or dusts can cause irritation and can aggravate pre-existing respiratory disease. The insulating materials are located between the inner chamber and outer body. There is no significant risk of exposure to dust or respirable fibers resulting from operation of this equipment under normal conditions. However, there may be a risk of exposure to respirable dusts or fibers when repairing or maintaining the insulating material, or when otherwise disturbing the material in a manner, which causes release of dust of fibers there from. Use sufficient natural or mechanical ventilation to keep dust level to below PEL/TLV/WEG (workplace exposure guideline) use dust collection when tearing out.

Protection Recommendation:

Use or wear the following when servicing:

Goggles

Gloves

Respirator, filter

Ventilation

Others that you can imagine to keep apart form dust.

3PREPARATION1. Recycle the packaging materials, but do not place them around the equipment.

2. Check the specification label, and make sure that the electrical data of the control box must be conformed to your local code or not.

3. This autoclave is the HI-Voltage equipment. For safety sake, plug power cord into the household like outlet is strictly prohibited.

4. User is requested to prepare a no-fuse breaker. The breaker specifications must be equal to higher than the rating current, ampere and voltage of autoclave. Connect the power cord with this no-fuse breaker.

When the power cord is 1-phase/3-wire

Connect 2 terminals with breaker, disregard + or . Let the third wire be grounding as depicted figure B. When the power source is 3-phase/4-wire

Connect the 3-terminal with breaker, disregard + or . Let the 4th wire be grounding as depicted figure A.

5. For functions of automatic Water Filling and Vacuum Drying, inspect the motor spinning direction, it must be clockwise direction. If not, exchange assembly of any 2 terminals in breaker, then the motor will work in the correct direction.

6. Adjust the level of autoclave by adjusting its 4 feet. Vibration or unstable is strictly prohibited.

7. Prepare the distilled water or soft water for sterilization. Hard water or tap water will create the scale, which will clog the piping system and also damage the heating element and sensor, so as to reduce the operation lifetime.

8. Clean the operation zone, set and divide into 2 zones Sterilized and Non-sterilized. It can prevent infection by this way.

9. The qualified or licensed operator is required for operation.

10. Repeat and inspect the above steps, once the above-regulated steps are proved excellent, this autoclave can start to be tested and operated.

People other than the qualified personnel or licensed engineers are strictly prohibited from maintenance & servicing.

Always inspect the inner chamber and clean the dirt and any residue.

Inspect and test the SAFETY VALVE periodically

Pull the Safety Valve up to make sure if the steam can be released, and record in the check list. If not, it indicates the problem of the valve, replace the new one.

Drain the water out of the chamber monthly as stated in the OPERATION. Distilled water or soft water is recommended.

Always keep the autoclave from the wall by 20cm more.

WARNING

HOT CHAMBER. The chamber and the exposed piping and components will become hot and remain hot without visual indication for some time after use. Direct contact will create personnel injury. Always use the handle and gloves to remove the hot substances from chamber to avoid personnel injury.
