    PORTABLE ELECTRIC TOOLS

    Power tools are a great addition to the workplace and the home for that matter, butperhaps because they seem like home tools, we do not always take the same precautions,that we should with them, this is a big mistake , because they are powerful and requiresome caution and common sense. In addition , as powerful tools they should be usedfollowing basic electrical safety guidelines.

    One of the main hazards of power tools is that we tend to underestimate them. We do notrealize that they have the same potential as their larger cousins, to grab careless operatorsinto points of operation, such as saw blades, causing serious inuries, in addition, like anyelectrical equipment they pose the risk of fire, shock or electrocution.

    !inally, most power tools create dust, shavings or other small flying obects that can causeanother source of inury.
