Acting: Patrick Jordan
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Jor dan is a
founding member and artistic director Barebones Productions, where
he has appeared in multiple productions, includingCherry Smoke,
which premiered at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in
Scotland. Jordan has performed with multiple companies in
Pittsburgh, New York, and India, and has also appeared in various
motion pictures.
Acting: Daina Griffith
Daina Griffith is a local AEA/SAG- AFTRA actress whose work
can be seen on stages around Pittsburgh, in such films as The Dark
Knight Rises (Foley's wife), Hollidaysburg (Angela), and Civilians
(Tilly), and currently heard and seen in local commercials
(Armstrong Cable). She was honored to be named the Pittsburgh Post
Gazette's Performer of the Year in 2013, and is currently
performing in Tell it to the Marines at Soldiers and Sailors. Up

Classic Theatre.
Costume Design: Jeffrey Fuga
An alum of Point Park University, Jeff is a full time produc-
tion technician at City Theatre Company. Some of his lo-
cal theatre credits include Pittsburgh CLO's Gallery of
Heroes: The Invention of Edison and the Pittsburgh Playhouse's Huck
Finn, The Outsiders, and Hecuba.
Hair: Joan Spratt Joan Spratt is a seasoned hair stylist and
period designer. Among her credits includ e Pittsburgh Opera,
Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera [ C.L.O.], Pittsburgh Cultural
Trust's Broadway Series and a number of films shot in the
Pittsburgh area. Joan also designs and staffs a series of 18th
Century re-enactments. She is a prominent authority and
consultant of this
period.

As The Pittsburgh Cultural Trus t’s Department of Education
and Community Engagement, we are committed to providing educational
experiences to a multicultural audience of all ages. Our mission is
part of the Trust’s goal of creating cultural vitality in
Pittsburgh.
The Department of Education and Community Engagement works with
arts organizations, universities, educators, under -served
populations and the overall community to develop educational and
entertaining programs that nurture an appreciation for the
arts.
About The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Since its inception in 1984,
The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has been a catalyst for cultural and
economic growth in the city. The Trust has forged partnerships with
arts organizations, private businesses, state and local government
and developers to encourage development in the Cultural
District.
The Trust owns and operates the Benedum Center, Byham Theater,
Harris Theater and O’Reilly Theater. In addition, the Trust manages
Wood Street Galleries, as well as a number of smaller art galleries
in the Cultural District.

Make-Up: Roderick Carter Mr. Carter has been a
professional make-up artist and teacher for over 30 years. He has
worked in opera, musical theater, comedy and drama. His film
credits
include providing make-up for Diabolique with Sharon Stone,
Kingpin with Woody Harrelson and The Patriot with
Mel Gibson. He is currently designing for the Pittsburgh Playhouse
and Pittsburgh Musical Theater.
Make-up: Christopher Patrick
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based make up artist Christopher Patrick
specializes in Special Make Up F/X as well as straight and
beauty make up for the stage and screen. With over 10 years of
experience, Christopher is proficient in AIRBRUSH,BEAUTY, &
EDITORIAL MAKE UP, and has worked in commercials, music videos,
fashion shows, theatrical productions and films both
independent and feature. Christopher has also be Special Make Up
F/X Supervisor on several films and owns Special Make Up F/X shop
SOMETHING IN THE BASEMENT F/X. Christopher is a licensed
esthetician and a Journeyman of I.A.T.S.E. Local 798, Hair &
Make Up Artists Union. Christopher Patrick is available for studio,
on set and location work in Pittsburgh and wherever he is
needed!
Make-up: Lindsay Dickison
Lindsay Dickison is a graduate of the Tom Savini School of Special
Effects. She is a theatre designer of hair and make-up and the only
designer used by the Lincoln Park Performing Arts School. She has
participated in the Theatre Arts Workshop for 8 years. Her special
talents lie in Zoomorphic and Fantasy designs.
PITTSBURGH CULTUR L TRUST
Playwriting: Monteze Freeland
Monteze Freeland is a graduate of Point Park University. His
theater company The LAB Project has been selected to join the
Pittsburgh Fringe Festival. Monteze is the Artistic Associate for
The Pittsburgh Playwright's 2013-2014 season having just directed
Poe's Last Night. As a playwright, he has been commisioned by The
Arena Players since the age of 16 beginning with his murder mystery
thriller -saga "Shutting Down the Big House". For T3 he penned
a Trayvon Martin memorial piece entitiled "Mother's Day". Monteze
is a teaching artist for City Theater's Young Playwright's
Festival, cultivating the incredible young talent in
Pittsburgh.
Playwriting: Kim El Kim El is an actor, poet, playwright and
vocalist. She is a homegrown Pittsburgher whose creative life
experiences include acting with New Horizon Theatre, Pittsburgh
Playwrights Theatre, Kuntu Repertory Theatre, The Shadow Lounge and
Quiet Storm Coffee House. She is a graduate of Duquesne University
with a B.A. in Journalism and in addition to performing, Kim uses
her skills as a Program Manager to educate and mentor teens at the
Homewood Youth Places After School Program.
Playwriting: Dr. Tameka Cage Conley Tameka Cage Conley, PhD,
is a scholar and professional literary artist who writes poetry,
fiction, and plays. She completed the doctoral degree in English at
Louisiana State University where she received the Huel Perkins
Doctoral Fellowship. She was later awarded the Distinguished
Dissertation Award for her manuscript, Painful Discourses: Borders,
Regions, and Representations of Female Circumcision from Africa to
America. In 2010, she received the August Wilson Center
Fellowship in literary arts. Her first play, Testimony, was
produced at the Center in May 2011. In fall 2011, she received
the Advancing the Black Arts Grant for theater. In 2012, she became
a Cave Canem Poetry Fellow and was nominated for the Pushcart Prize
for poetry as well as the Carol R. Brown Creative Achievement
Award. She is completin g her first novel and a poetry
collection.
Make-up: Ricky Gindlesberger Ricky is a makeup and wig
artist from Pittsburgh Pa. He graduated from Douglas Business
School in 2012, after completing the Tom Savini Special Makeup
Effects Program. Credits include Pittsburgh Musical Theater's CATS
(wigs and makeup) HAIRSPRAY(wigs and makeup) Disney's TARZAN
(makeup and wig design) and SHREK (wig designer and makeup) as well
as Prime Stage's THE ELEPHANT MAN (wigs and wardrobe).
Movement for Actors: Mark Conwa y Thompson
Mr. Thompson has performed inMummenschanz on Broadway,
was for six years a principle soloist with Ella Jaroszewicz's
movement theater companyLe Théâtre Magenia (Paris); he has danced
with Rudolf Nureyev and Noëlla Pontois (Perpignan, France), has
danced also with the American Dance Ensemble, Tome Cousins'
Physical Theatre Project , and the Ina Hahn Dance Company;
has appeared in films, and has performed locally with Quantum
Theater, Pittsburgh Playwrights' Theater, Pittsburgh Public
Theater, City Theatre, Pittsburgh Playhouse, Pittsburgh Irish and
Classical Theater, No Name Players, Saints and Poets, and Unseam'd
Shakespeare Company. Mr. Thompson has taught mime and movement for
actors at the International Academy of Dance (Paris), Duke
University, the University of Brazil, Carnegie Mellon University,
Point Park College, Duquesne University and Colorado College. He
has choreographed for dance companies in the USA and abroad,
collaborates with the European theatre project “Performing
Languages,” has written seven plays for movement theatre, and
presently is performing a one-man-show, Flight from Himself .
Playwriting: Mark Southers
Mark Clayton Southers is an award-winning playwright and director
personally mentored by August Wilson. As the founding artistic
director of the ten-year -old Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre
Company, he’s produced 125 plays including ten of August Wilson’s
10- play “Century Cycle” (in the order they appeared on Broadway)
and presented an original work in Poland. He also serves as
Director of Theatre Initiatives at the August Wilson Center of
African American Culture.
Stage Combat: Laura Mitchell Laura Mitchell received a MFA in
acting from Temple University, which included stage combat
certification. Ms. Mitchell directs the plays and musicals at
Moon Area High School where she also teaches 9th and 12
th grade
English. On the professional stage, Ms. Mitchell has sung with
the Indianapolis Opera and traveled around the US appearing in many
different shows, as well as appearing in a number of commercials.
Laura will be assisted by two of her students: Samuel Gregory and
Katrina Kudla.
Stage Management: Kim Martin
Kim Martin (Production Manager) graduated from Point Park
University in 1987 where she received a B.A. in Fine, Applied and
Performing Arts. She stayed on at the University to work in the
Conservatory of Dance and Music where she assisted in the
implementation of a number of programs. She returned to the
Playhouse in 1999 as Production Stage Manager. In addition, Ms.
Martin has directed at various theatres in and around the
Pittsburgh area including Pittsburgh Playhouse, barebones
productions, Apple Hill Playhouse, Pyramid Productions, The
Upstairs Theatre, The New Group Theatre, and Geneva College. In
2007, she was promoted to Production Manager at the Pittsburgh
Playhouse and is currently serving in that capacity as well as
adjunct faculty at the University.
Stage Management: Alicia Digiorgi Alicia Digiorgi has
lived and wor ked in Pittsburgh for eight years now. She has worked
for Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, City Theatre, The Rep,
Barebones Productions, Bricologe Theatre Company, Pittsburgh
Musical Theatre, Red Eye Theatre Project and Unique Staging
Solutions. Sh e received her Stage Management and Technical Theatre
degree from Point Park University.
