Topic:

As most people spend a major part of their adult life at work, job satisfaction is an important element of individual wellbeing.

What factors contribute to job satisfaction?

How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers?

‘Your world is not where you live, is where you make a living’ an old Persian saying goes which by hearing the question of ‘How do you make a living?’ springs in mind. There are different aspects in one’s life which conditions of life are fundamentally based on. One of them, which can inevitably consolidate one’s position in life, is having (to have) a job. The moment you commence working, regardless (regardless of) the kind of job, you are making your life condition by it. The vivacity of a job draws the image of life, whereas one can feel fabulously satisfied if the job satisfies his/her (their) life expectations.

First of all, No words can describe the gratefulness of a job better than the condition that an individual is working in which can involve (a variety of) variety of features. The place where you may work (Take your workplace as an example.), to take as an example, It gives the feeling of comfort and safety. Since, regarding some statistics, Individuals spend one third of their adulthood at work before the retirement age, it endorses that the comfort and/or security at work is equally as significant as your home. The perception of one's job, which is built by the circumstances he/she works (they work) under, can manifest the psychological health of the person. Nevertheless, not everyone works in the expected comfortable situation due to the nature of some jobs.

Beside (Besides) the inner view of a job, the outer perspective can bail someone out of the issues he/she (they have to) has to cope with at work. The outer view can, succinctly, explain as what one gains out of a job. The wealth of economic position that individuals are situated in, for instance, can make up for all the obstacles that they may encounter with. However, this financial satisfaction cannot relieve all workers in any given job and position while not all jobs are well-paid.

To recap, the (a) deep sense of gratitude toward a job, concisely, can be determined as what you are dealing with at, and what you earn out of a job. Hence, working in an uncomfortable place with low level of life safety as well as being under–paid is (are) common in many capitalist countries where job satisfaction is beyond the majority of employees’ imagination.
