Job Purpose

To effectively advise the HRM team and DST employees.To co-ordinate and administer performance management and development system, recruitment and selection, human resource administration and partnering.

Recruitment and Selection

Key result area: recruitment and selection HR administration

Liaise with organisational development unit on approved positions through job evaluation after receiving the approved memo I there for draft an advert for approval by the responsible manager and for placement internally and externally.

Create the approved positions/sub-programme on persal. Facilitated and presents during hr sessions and induction. Approved requisition forms - facilitate the approval of requisition forms prior to

divertissement of a post and at least four working days prior to interviews. Screening of applications received prior to the post and submits to line manager

within 4 working days. Rendered secretariat services - schedule appointments for interviews, prepare

interview packs and distribute it four working days prior to an interview. I therefore render services during the interview as an hr representative to advice

managers and to ensure fairness and no conflict of interest on the selection and recruitment of suitably qualified candidate on deputy director positions and below.

Draft submissions/memo, offer letter, regret letters and contracts for approval, facilitate the approval of the recommended candidate (reference report, vetting and SAQA qualification verification).

Inducted employees - monitor employee’s movement and exit interviews at least 5 working days prior to resignation date. Administer first week induction and oversee logistical arrangements.

Monthly report on the following leave credits, leave statistics. Assist in the updating of list of appointment and resignation. I assist in the review policies and procedures on recruitment and selection, service
