About The Authors Keith Lamb

Keith migrated from England to Australia in 1970, where he formed the successful, multi-cultural, glam-rock band “Hush”. As lead singer and co-writer for much of Hush’s material, he lead the band to great national success with many top ten hits, such as Glad All Over and Boney Maronie. Keith and his band toured Australia and New Zealand frequently during the ’70s, with much media attention through television, radio and print. Keith compered Countdown, the Australian music television program. After 7 years with Hush, Keith went on to co-write hits for bands such as Status Quo, and has 2 tracks on the current Status Quo anthology. Keith performed in the first Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar and produced many successful albums e.g. Pioneers (the poetry of Banjo Patterson set to music) which went triple platinum. A documentary, made by the ABC’s Australian Story team in 1999, traced Keith’s life from Hush days to the present. He now works as the art director for Rajmahal (see below) producing advertisements and other promotional materials. In his spare time, Keith paints, sculpts and invents.

Peter Wilmoth’s book, “Up Close, 28 Lives of Extraordinary Australians” includes a chapter on Keith. Hush starred in the Countdown Spectacular Tour of Australia, 2006.

Louise Howland

Louise is an Australian who has travelled widely and worked in many fields, including as a psychiatric nurse and music teacher. Amongst her loves are nature, books, writing, music, art and travel. Louise formed the company Rajmahal in 1986. Rajmahal manufactures and wholesales unique embroidery products. With Agent/distributors employed in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe, Africa and Canada, Rajmahal (www.rajmahal.com.au) has developed from a very small business into an international craft company.

Louise and Keith are passionate about conversation and its benefits. They developed TAOC as a labor of love over many years.

Translations to French, German and Spanish currently underway.
