Em mais dE 20 anos de carreira foto-grafando a natureza, Adriano Gambarini garante que nunca clicou pensando no resultado final. Manter o foco nas situa-ções é um dos segredos. “Primeiro obser-ve o instante, aproveite, fotografe com a mente. E só depois com a câmera”, reco-menda o profissional, que se graduou em Geologia e começou registrando caver-nas para pesquisas acadêmicas.

A primeira dica de Adriano é para que o fotógrafo ocasional conheça bem seu equipamento. “Hoje, as câmeras têm mui-tos recursos automatizados. Mas não se acomode com eles. Leia o manual e apren-da a usar sua máquina”, diz.

Uma boa foto é também o resultado da mudança no olhar do fotógrafo em relação ao objeto. “Você começa a perceber que o mundo existe por si só, e está aí para que to-dos aproveitem. As coisas não acontecem por nossa causa. Somos apenas expectadores.”

With a more than 20-year career taking nature photos, Adriano Gambarini guar-antees that he never shoots with the end result in mind. Keeping focus on the situ-ations is one of his secrets. “First, observe the moment, take the time to photograph it with your mind. And after with your camera,” says the photographer, who has a degree in geology and started out docu-menting caves for academic research.

Gambarini’s first tip is that occa-sional photographers get to know their equipment well. “These days, cameras have lots of automated features. But don’t get used to them. Read the manual and learn how to use your camera,” he says.

A good photograph is also the result of the change in the photographer’s vision of his or her subject. “You start to notice that the world exists by itself, and it’s there for everyone to enjoy. Things don’t happen because of us. We’re just spectators.”
