“Indoor air pollution is one of the most

important environmental health problems.”

Most homes have airborne concentrations of

hazardous and toxic chemicals that are 2 to 5

times higher indoors than outdoors. Some

have levels 70 times higher inside the home

than outside!

Three Types of Pollutants

• GasesGases– Volatile Organic Compounds

– Carbon Monoxide

– OdorsVolatile Organic Compounds are chemical compounds that easily evaporate (volatile). Formaldehyde is probably the most common VOC found in homes.

Other common V.O.C.'s:

Gasoline, benzene, alcohol, toluene, Xylene, turpentine, cleaning chemicals.

V.O.C.'s can be found in building materials and home products, such as:

Paint, solvents, caulking, tobacco smoke, construction adhesives, particle board shelving & kitchen cabinets, laminated wood veneer furniture, wall paper, particle board sub flooring, interior-grade plywood, urea-formaldehyde foam insulation, dyes, inks, medicines, new carpet out gassing, carpet padding, carpet adhesives, hair products, paper products, cleaning products, etc.

Medical journals have documented the negative effects of VOC exposure to include: dizziness, nausea, fatigue, reduced limb strength, headaches, eye, nose, throat irritation, breathing difficulties, shortness of breath, excessive phlegm, dermatitis, chest pain, wheezing, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. Formaldehyde and other V.O.C.'s have been linked to cancer in animal studies.

Freeman was getting sick and didn't know why. He got weak, had to take two or three naps daily, and developed muscle tremors and skin rashes. His wife Cyndi had similar but less severe symptoms.

"We had no energy. We were just beat all the time," he said.

Doctors first suspected Freeman was afflicted by early Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or ALS -- Lou Gherig's disease.

Finally an allergist told Freeman he was highly allergic to black mold, and a test confirmed huge numbers of spores in the house were from the toxic molds Aspergilla and Cladosporium.

Mold was forming where a toilet and dishwasher had leaked into the flooring. A dryer and oven were vented into the crawl space, adding moisture.

While Freeman had repairs made, the couple lived in their camper for two months.

The cost for remediation: more than $20,000.

Jim and Lisa Rector are shown in their Boise home. The Rectors moved out of the home in October because a mold found in the crawl space. The mold, Stachybotrysatra, has been known to cause sinus problems and other health issues. The Rectors have spent a great deal of money getting rid of the mold, including tearing up carpet and bleaching walls in the home.

How It Works.Photo-Hydro-IonizationPhoto-Hydro-Ionization

Photo-hydro-ionization occurs when light energy from the ultraviolet (UV) lamp reacts with the tri-metallic catalyst. This reaction creates super oxide ions and hydro-peroxide radicals. These ions and radicals, together with moisture and ozone in the air create an anti-microbial and anti-bacteriostatic environment resulting in reduced odors and microbials in the air.

The electron generator in the unit emits electrons into the surrounding air, reducing the static charge inside rooms and neutralizing positively charged particles. The neutrally charged particles agglomerate and become heavier particles. Gravity is now able to pull the particles to the ground.

Testimonials Dear Amber,

Thank you for letting me try your AirSource last week - I'm just thrilled! My son, Brandon who has had a runny nose since he was born 3 years ago, hasn't even sniffed in the past 5 days! My 7-month old baby is sleeping better at night - as is my husband and 5 year old! But the person who has seen the biggest change is me...I was diagnosed with severe, sudden asphycsic asthma - the worst kind - when I was 7 years old and have battled with tough breathing for the past 18 years. I've been on every drug available from inhalers to steroids but nothing has worked. I am attached to my nebulizer constantly. I can’t laugh too hard or bag my own groceries. Until now.

My asthma has significantly improved over the past week since I've been running my AirSource - my whole family is in awe! I'm off the steroids and haven't used my nebulizer for a week now. I'm using my inhaler about half as often as usual - even my chronic headaches are gone! I can't thank you enough for sharing AirSource with me - It has changed my life in ways I’ve only dreamt about. Deb

PROBLEM

Life's journeys—both near and far—remove us from the safety of our homes where the AirSource® 3000 can purify the air.

Whether in our car, RV, hotel room or office cube, the loss of control over our indoor environment and the people with whom we come in contact exposes us to the threat of indoor air pollution with every breath.
