Along with these fabulous books, theteachers a guide. The guide provides an 'instruction plan', plus an activity sheet,for eachleveled book 2 a-- ---- - a . ' ., "linstruction plan' includes different sections to help create interest,guide reading, monitor P* comprehension, provide a skill to practice, and gives connection ideas. My proposal is to sendhome one leveled book, along with the 'instruction plan' and activity sheet that accompanies the bookplus a decodable text. I have created a 'homework' folderfor each child to use anda check-off sheet to keep trackwith whatbooks theyhave taken home. At the endof the vear, the children will be able to keep their folder,but until then. I would like for this to be used to carrythese betweenhome and school only. Again, it is not required that you use these rvorksheets or that you return your child's completed to school(unless, of course, they would like to 'celebrate' it with their peers). I am hopefulthat if *s.
