TAIWAN
Taiwan is a small country located off to the east of Asia. It is an8 off land country with a whopping

to visit, though the people and atmosphere are very friendly, adding to Taiwan being a unique
country itself. A major method of industry in Taiwan is agriculture. The current president is Ma Ying-jeou, who deals with Taiwans major trading partners which consist of China, the U.S., Singapore and
Hong Kong. The climate in Taiwan ranges from tropical seasons to wet, rainy seasons during the
South-West monsoon. Taiwan is a relatively safe country, being a small and unnoticed destination.
Tapei is Taiwans capital city which is full of culture and beliefs. Buddhism remains Taiwans largest
most respected religion, although, Confucian, Taoist and Christianity are included in Taiwans major
religions too. Taiwan has similar national holidays to many other Asian countries. These include New
Years Day, 228 Memorial Day, Childrens Day, Tomb Sweeping Day and up to five Chinese New Year
holidays in ascending order from January 31 to February 4.

high standard and affordable genuine medical care from professional medical teams. These diseases
have developed over the years as in some areas of Taiwan they lack in proper disposal of sewerage
and safe, clean water to drink. There have been similar problems around the world like the break
down in control of mosquitos. Taiwan is a relatively safe country health wise since the medical and
hospital care is very worthy. As long as the correct vaccinations are taken before coming to Taiwan.
SECURITY:
Taiwan is different to countries like Australia because cars and motorcycles are drive on the right
side of the road. It is known that in Taiwan, young protestors want to find an agreement with China
about their leaders. China has claimed Taiwan toward the end of the Chinese civil war which ended
in 1949. Now Taiwan is now and independent country with original culture and beliefs. This has
caused some rivalry between the countries. Taiwan is respectively a safe and secure place and is
approachable as long as you stay out of unlikely trouble.
