basic types o! soils !oun# in Tagaytay ity belong to Tagaytay series. These

are the Tagaytay san#y loam an# the Tagaytay loam.

The central an# estern portions o! the city are co+ere# by the

Tagaytay san#y loam. The sur!ace soil o! the Tagaytay san#y loam is 12 to

loam ith a consi#erable amount o! +olcanic san#. The subsoil is #ark bron
