Opportunities for trainers and assessors exist across the vocational education and training sector and in many industries. This nationally recognised qualification – part of the TAE10 Training & Education Training Package – acknowledges the important and evolving role that such education and training professionals play in developing the skills required by industry. Under the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015, current practitioners with qualifications from the BSZ98 and TAA04 are no longer able to demonstrate equivalence and will be required to undertake the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The skills you will learn include designing and developing training programs, planning and undertaking group based learning and organising and conducting the assessment process. A unit covering workplace learning will enable students to learn how to conduct training in a work place, while an elective subject is available for students wanting to work in an online and distance education.

You will be supported throughout your studies by highly experienced trainers and enjoy access to industry-leading online learning materials and resources.

Designed for individuals wishing to add expertise in vocational training and assessment to their existing skill-set or update their current qualification, this course is particularly relevant if you are considering employment in distance and online learning. This course is offered in partnership with ICM Training.
