Welcome to the 2017 Membership Directory. This directory is a very good resource, not only for great companies who have advertised to keep this directory free, but be- cause it allows everyone the to opportunity to reach out to your Board of Directors and BCRMCA staff as well as other producers, suppliers, products and equipment … all in one directory.

I’d like to bring you up-to-date on some of the association’s initiatives. The BCRMCA is aligning itself with quite a few other associations to share information and strategies to help our industry. Working together with Washington, Oregon and California to combat wood buildings will not only save money for everyone, but will enable all of us to pass along the same message on the west coast. This is in addition to our leadership in the Canadian Ready Mix Concrete Association and the Concrete Council of Canada.

Our convention for 2017 will be held at the newly renovated Empress Hotel, November 2-5, in Victoria, BC. And we will be launching our new Concrete BC logo at the convention.

There was a great hope of a joint convention with Alberta and British Columbia that has been postponed for another time, hopefully in the near future.

The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is done and available to every producer member of the association. We are looking forward to the marketing and information sessions and workshops being launched later this year to help members maximize the EPD. Thank you to all the companies who worked on submitting the information required to launch this initiative.

I truly believe that an association is only as good as the members want it to be. The2017 Board of Directors is here to steer this association, and if you want to see or find out about anything, please call/email/text any of the Directors — anytime.
