In March 2012, we were presented the request for proposal from our home town of Augusta. We were ecstatic at the chance to serve the community and respond to your request for mowing services at the following locations.

Please find the following response to your proposal. In this response, you will find information on the following: a summary of our company, the proposed work plan, and information about safety, weather, and equipment. Please also find our list of references and experiences.

Proposal Summary
Green Day Mowing and Services can meet the mowing needs of Augusta, OR. We proposed to meet these needs by providing the following services:

Section 1: Who We AreGreen Day Mowing and Services originated in 1989 as a family owned and
operated lawn mowing service in the residential neighbors in the community of Augusta, OR. In 1995, we expanded to a Landscape & Maintenance service to both residential and commercial properties. As our customer base increased throughout the years, Green Day continues to commit to its customers; however, we are now two companies within one group.
Our Green Day Mowing services residential customers and our Green Day Mowing and Services division serves commercial properties. This allows us to assure a trained and committed crew for each division to best meet our customer’s needs. When you have a team of 50 men, handling large areas, more can be accomplished quickly and efficiently. Since we already service a vast amount of both commercial and residential areas throughout the week, it might be hard for some companies to manage such large accounts.
Green Day understands the needs of its customers and understands that the ability to complete the work is key. Being one of the only landscaping companies to pay their employees on a salary with benefits, we only hire the best around. Our employees are passionate about their community and the way it looks.

Section 2: What Is IncludedWhen you contract with Green Day Mowing and Services you can expect the following to be included in the contract.

Section 3: Exceptions
The following services are not included in this proposal: We do not rake leaves, unless contracted. If there are large deciduous trees that produce a large amount of leaf drop in the winter, and you do not contract for leaf clean up, we will simply run the mowers over the leaves to disperse them. Leaf clean ups are not free.

Work Plan
The following plan, outlines the cost per day, per week, and per contract. Outlined in the plan is the scheduled day the Green Day Crew will be present on the site, the number of man hours proposed, and the total cost.

Safety
Maintaining a safe working environment for our personnel while also assure safety for our customers is paramount.
All Green Day employees meet the following credentials:
Landscape Certified by Oregon Department of Agriculture Completed Red Cross Emergency Course Completion of Oregon Background Check
Each Green Day crew is led by a crew supervisor. The supervisor meets all the above criteria and meets the following requirements:
Completion of Management Course Completion of Red Cross First Aid Course
All Green Day employees wear Green Day uniforms and can be easily identified.
Each supervisor carries a cell phone to be used in emergencies and when it is necessary to either contact the customer or main office when necessary.

Equipment
We are committed to providing products that meet and exceed customers’ performance expectations while protecting the environment. This includes our many innovative water conserving technologies and reducing emissions by using propane, hybrid, advanced battery, and hydrogen fuel cell technologies. We are also committed to eliminating waste and increasing efficiencies in our operations.

Weather
We understand the unpredictability of the weather. Our equipment is safe to use in wet weather, however when severe weather (i.e., lightening) occurs, safety is our upmost concern.
In the case of a schedule change due to weather conditions, we will contact you with our rescheduled service days. We will hold true to all days in the contract.
