HermitCrab 2

ETwater’s patented retrofit technology can instantly convert an existing conventional controller into a smart control-ler. All the same features and functions from the ETwater SmartBox Controller are available now with the use of the ETwater HermitCrab 2.

HermitCrab2 is compatible with most controller brands, most importantly the controller must have a remote control port. With the addition of a flow sensor you can measure, record flow and setup notifications in the event of a main line break or stuck valve. (Flow sensor sold separately and compatible with most available irrigation flow sensors.)

ETwater offers three smart controller models for cost-effectively transforming any conventional, standard irrigation system to smart irrigation control and management. All three smart controllers access the powerful ETwater cloud-based smart irrigation platform that dynamically adjusts landscape watering schedules by zone/station based on weather forecast, plant types, soil, micro-climate, and other environmental data.

• Manual operation of individual stations or all stations from 1-255 minutes in 1-minute increments.

• Easy-to-use keypad for viewing programs, manual (offline) valve operation and other system functions.

• Plug-in interface for Rain Master® and other remote control systems.

• Standard connections for rain sensor, booster pump, master valve, and flow sensor.

• Compatible with normally open or normally closed master valves, rain/freeze or wind sensors.

• Alerts sent via email to report any open or shorted stations.

• Controller keypad can be used to test one or all stations for OK, open or shorted circuits.

• Colored LED panel lights report activity status for rain sensor, flow sensor, or open or shorted valve.
