IEP-machines, aro set to 63,3 o.p.s.

:CEP sont regles pour 63,3 o.p.s.

Pour conmonder lo. porfora tion, il est necossc:'cire d 'avoir uno impulsion d 1 une

porte 11et 11 2Nl No. 1, qui permet a 1 1 impulsion de synchronisation du teletype

de passer et de cornnc.nder 1' echelle de comptage cons ti tuee par les flip-flops

The input to tl10 "And" gn.tes are also presented to 3 "OR" gates, 2Pl Ho 2 and

The output fron the 11.And" Gate passes three inverters :·nd triggers c. monostable

US2 No. 8 (Tho three inverte1"s c.re just a question of loci.cling for the Philips-blocks).

The negative pulse from tho I'lonostablo is fod to the teletype amplifier.

The positive pulse triggers u1other m.onosto.blo, whose negative output aftor

IKlssil'.lg through m1 inve:rtor is fed to the "output" circuit.

La troisieme operation est la lecture des.memoires.

Jusqu 1a mnintenc.nt los flip-flops ~F3 Nos 11 - 15 ont ete maintonus dans une

position fixe pnr une tension negutive fournie pe,r le circuit IEP-TC 4. Maintenant, cette

tension est rrunonee a zero et il est possible, pour les flip-flops, de travniller norma­

loment. Si une impulsion n.rrive dtune memoire, le flip-flop correspondant est bascule.

Les flip-flops bascules pl[',,cent un nivec.unegntif sur les portes "et", 1 1 impulsion,du

monostable OS2. No. 9 pnsse les portes et cornmf'.nde les o.mplificntGurs correspondant du

teletype. Qunhd le monostable OS2 No. 9 revient nu repos, il cQnunt::nde ln remise a zero

des flip-flops qui sont ainsi prots pour le second rong de memoires. Apres 8 operations,

le niven:u de sortie du circuit dovient negntif, et les flip-flops sont mil.intenus d:ms la

position robnsculee.
