The EMS rotating trommel is used to separate materials by size, separating over and under sized fractions of varying types of material including waste, soil, stones etc. The trommel drum can be supplied with mesh or

punch plate screen varying in aperture from 15 – 180mm (defined by application). Additional separation can be obtained with the installation of two screens within the same trommel.

TECHNICAL DETAILS• EMS trommels range from 3.7m to 10m long Drums• Inlet and discharge rings made from heavy duty steel plate• Drum fitted with mesh or punch plate.• Fully enclosed chute embraces the lower half of the Trommel and allow the fines to collect on an optional conveyor beneath.• Four large solid rubber tires connected to individual 2.2kW to 7.5kW electric motor(s) through a reduction gear box to drive the Trommel.• One solid rubber tire provides thrust support for the drum.• Variable speed control drum speed 5-20 RPM• Trommels are offered mounted on a range of heavy duty support structure heights.
