OPTIONSOPTIONS• Radial Front Conveyor (0-180 degrees). The radial conveyor has a 2 ply 800mm (32")

wide chevron belt and transfers the fine material to a stockpile. The conveyor is drivenby an OMT 315 motor, which transmits torque to the head drum by means of a HRCcoupling arrangement. .

• Tail Conveyor. The tail conveyor has a 2 ply chevron belt, 900mm (35.4”) wide andtransfers material from the drum to a stockpile. The conveyor is driven by an OMT 500motor, which transmits torque to the head drum by means of a HRC couplingarrangement.

• Extended Front Conveyor. The front conveyor belt is 2 ply 800mm (32”) wide chevronand transfers the fine material to a stockpiler or a stockpile. The conveyor is driven by anOMT 315 motor which transmits torque to the head drum by means of a HRC couplingarrangement. The front conveyor can be folded, which allows it to be retracted close tothe powerunit for transportation.

• Hinging Hopper Extension. A hinging hopper extension can be fitted to the Trommel615. Any side of this extension can be hinged down to give a lower loading height,depending on which side the machine is being loaded from. The hopper extensiondramatically increases the capacity of the hopper. The hopper extension when fitted tothe machine is still below the 4m transport height restriction. This makes the machine amost mobile unit.

pressure in the drum circuit goes above a certain limit, the feeder will slow down untilnormal working pressure resumes. Thus preventing the drum from stalling.

The Powerscreen Trommel 615 LL is a screening unit that arose from enquires in therecycling market. Like all the Powerscreen Trommel range, the Trommel 615 LL wasdeveloped with safety, maintenance and environmental issues to the fore.

The Powerscreen Trommel 615 LL was developed to suit World-wide standards and meet allEuropean & USA legislation on noise levels, safeguarding. etc.. The Trommel 615 LL canprocess a vast array of materials / aggregates some of which include compost, fertiliser, clay,ash, sand, gravel, demolition waste, yard waste, wood chips, topsoil, compost sludge,limestone, coal and mulch. The Trommel 615 low-loading machine was specially designedwith a quick set-up time and high mobility in mind. The need for a ramp for loading purposesis eliminated which dramatically decreases set up time which is approximately 10 minutes.

Feeder:Feeder:

Continuous belt feed with a 3 ply 1050mm (42 “) wide conveyor belt. The conveyor belt ischain driven by an OMT 500 hydraulic motor and reduction gearbox with variable speedcontrol to determine the feed rate. A single bladed belt scraper prevents build up of residueon the belt.

Screen Drum:Screen Drum:

A 1.8m x 4.57m (6' x 15') screen, generating a screening area of 19m sq. (24.8yd2). is chaindriven by an OMT 500 motor. The revolutions of the drum can be altered for differentapplications by means of a variable speed control. All fifteen meshes. [1,200mm x 1,175mm(4’ x 3’10”)] meshes are available in a large range of apertures depending on the size of finesrequired. The meshes are cleansed by a set of nylon brushes, which are adjustable to ensureefficient cleaning. The tumbling action of the drum breaks any dirt or loose particles from thematerial thus ensuring a much cleaner and solid oversize. All Powerscreen Trommels comestandard with machined rolled surfaces for support wheels, in turn this eliminates allvibrations.

The collection conveyor belt is a 2 ply 1050mm (42") wide belt that carries the fine materialfrom under the screen and transports it evenly onto the front conveyor. This conveyor isdriven by an OMT 500 motor, which transmits torque to the head drum by means of a HRCcoupling. A belt scraper again provides protection against residue build up on the belt.

The front conveyor is a 2 ply 800mm (32") wide chevron belt and transfers the fine materialto a stockpile. The conveyor is driven by an OMT 315 motor, which transmits torque to thehead drum by means of a HRC coupling arrangement. A hexagonal roller is mounted at thehead of this conveyor and acts as a cleaning devise for the belt. This conveyor is raised andlowered into working and transport position with the aid of two rams.

The engine is a Deutz air cooled diesel engine BF4L 1011F or the BF4M1012C which isoptional. As well as the engine the powerunit consists of a hydraulic tank, hydraulic oilcooler, diesel tank, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic control valves and an auxiliary 4 bank controlvalve. All equipment is fully protected by a automatic shut-down system with warning lightsindicating the source of the problem.
